    Abstract: A method of fabricating the composite metal-and-plastic components of an antiballistic grill for an armored vehicle. Each component comprises a core in the form of a length of structural section with layers of plastic against each side bonded to the core by heat and pressure in a mold comprising two halves. The object of the present invention is simpler and more economical lamination in the fabrication of non-flat work with a metal core. The core is electrically heated to a prescribed processing temperature by regulating a current of electricity, whereby the resulting heat is employed to soften to a prescribed extent adhesive between the core and the layers of plastic to be bonded to it.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing helical springs from steel wire. The springs' skin is thermomechanically hardened by shot peening the unstressed springs followed by thermally destressing them, and shot peening them again. The second shot peening is carried out in at least two steps. The method produces springs that are just as strong as conventional but smaller and lighter in weight. The first one of the steps is a rough shot peening with shot that is coarser than in the second one of the steps which is a fine shot peening was shot at a lower speed than in the first step. This increases compression of the wire's surface and polishes the wire's surface.

    Abstract: A method of injection-molding three-layer moldings, especially bottle blanks, having inner and outer layers of a "material A" and of a "material B". The projecting-bolt joint (5) is provided with at least one spring (6). The spring snaps into a matching (bent) rigid part of the vehicle body or wheel assembly. Spacers are associated with the resiliently yielding components that suppress impact and vibration. The spacers restrict their deformation once they have been installed.
