  • Publication number: 20170328528
Abstract: Lamp for the installation in an electric cabinet comprising at least one electric light source, and an optical device with at least two optical portions for transmitting and redirecting light emitted from said electric light source, wherein the redirection characteristics of one of the optical portions differs from the redirection characteristics of the other optical portion, and wherein the two optical portions are discrete from each other and integrally formed or connected.

  • Patent number: 8968011
Abstract: A metal power track has a U-section body having a pair of parallel side walls joined by a floor wall and delimiting a longitudinally extending retaining channel. Respective longitudinally extending and dielectric support rails are carried on the side walls, and a ground strip is provided on the floor wall. Two respective longitudinally extending, uninsulated bare main conductors are carried on each of the the dielectric support rails and are adapted to conduct power. Respective longitudinally extending uninsulated secondary conductors are carried on each of the dielectric support rails between the respective main conductors but out of electrical contact therewith. The conductors are all exposed transversely in the retaining channel. Each of the secondary conductors is adapted to carry electrical control signals or act as light-duty power feed lines.

  • Patent number: 8888512
Abstract: An adapter for use with a U-section longitudinally extending power track has a base adapted to fit in the slot and a head adapted to fit outside the slot on the track so that an electrical device can be connected via the adapter to the conductors in the track. A first operating shaft extending along and pivotal about an axis in the housing carries contact fingers pivotal on rotation of the first shaft between a retracted position recessed in the base and a contacting position projecting from the base and, when the base is fitted to the slot, engaging the conductors. A second operating shaft extends along and pivotal about the axis in the housing. A second switch assembly connected to the second shaft and operable thereby on rotation of the second operating shaft to connect and disconnect the contact fingers with phase contacts on the housing.

  • Patent number: 8888540
Abstract: A coupling is used with a U-section longitudinally extending power track having a floor and a pair of side walls defining a longitudinally and transversely open retaining channel and provided on the side walls with respective dielectric support rails each carrying a respective longitudinally extending main conductor transversely exposed in the slot and connected to phase or ground. The coupling has a dielectric coupling housing extending along an axis and having center structure defining a center symmetry plane perpendicular to the axis and end formations projecting axially oppositely from the center structure and each fittable longitudinally into the channel at an end of the power track to an insertion depth determined by the center structure. Two L-section and longitudinally extending metallic contact strips are carried on and transversely limitedly movable in a predetermined transverse direction in the dielectric housing.

  • Patent number: 7465071
Abstract: A light fixture has an elongated housing having a floor and side walls defining a transversely open and longitudinally extending outlet and a light source extending longitudinally in the housing. A U-section asymmetrical primary reflector extending longitudinally in the housing between the source and the floor is oriented to reflect light from the source out through the outlet. Two longitudinally extending generally triangular-section secondary reflectors extend longitudinally spacedly adjacent one another between the source and the outlet. The secondary reflectors have outwardly concave first sides directed toward each other, concave second sides directed away from each other, and outwardly concave third sides directed toward the source. Thus light from the source is directed back toward the source and the first reflector by the third sides, is scattered outward through the outlet by the second sides, and is directed outward through the outlet by the first sides.
