    Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring wheel positions on a vehicle involving measurement of certain angular positions of the vehicle wheel comprises measuring a plurality of different vertical spacings of a part of the body of the vehicle from the center of the wheel, and the wheel positions associated therewith. The measurement values are related to each other to determine a dependency of the position of the wheel on the level which is ascertained in that way.
