Abstract: A throttle body fuel injection system including a throttle body with at least one air intake, a fuel injector coupled to the throttle body at a fuel port and an annular ring coupled to the cylindrical inner wall of the air intake. The annular ring includes a primary fuel discharge orifice adjacent to the fuel port and a plurality of secondary fuel discharge orifices arranged radially around the annular ring for spraying atomized fuel into the air intake.

Abstract: Systems and methods for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank may include (1) a fuel tank with an opening in a surface thereof; and (2) a fuel pump hanger assembly, the fuel pump hanger assembly comprising; (a) a plurality of assembly screws; (b) a plurality of clamping lugs configured to thread onto the plurality of assembly screws and engage an inside surface of the fuel tank; (c) a top plate further comprising; (i) a bearing surface configured to engage an external fuel tank surface; (ii) a plurality of through holes proximate the perimeter of the top plate and perpendicular to the bearing surface; (iii) a plurality of bosses, each of the plurality of bosses adjacent to each through hole, configured to guide and position the each clamping lug; and (d) a gasket positioned between the top plate and the fuel tank.
Abstract: Present embodiments provide a throttle body which may be used with a variety of engines of different manufacturers. The throttle body may be used to replace mechanical or hydraulically controlled carburetors with electronic fuel injection. The throttle body may provide improved fuel pathways through and about the throttle body in order to move fuel to opposed side. The throttle bodies may have improved configuration of the fuel injectors. Further, the throttle body may have computer mounted on the throttle body and a notch formed in the throttle body to define a wire routing pathway from the computer to the injectors.

Abstract: Liquid reservoir systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a liquid reservoir system may capture and retain a fuel reservoir to provide an uninterrupted fuel supply to a fuel pump or pickup line during low fuel conditions such as those that may be experienced during vehicle acceleration, braking or side to side maneuvers. It may also capture and retain a fuel reservoir to provide an uninterrupted fuel supply to a fuel pump or other pickup line during periods of high agitation such as may be experienced during vehicle jumping, cross country/closed course racing and other aggressive driving maneuvers.

Abstract: Mating interfaces between an air intake housing and an air filter are disclosed. According to one embodiment, an air filter assembly having a mating interface for coupling an air intake housing to the air filter may include an air filter having an exterior, an interior, and outlet; and a mating interface coupled to a circumference of the outlet of the air filter. The mating interface may include an opening for receiving an end of an air tube that is in communication with the interior of the air filter; and a groove in a surface of the mating interface for press-fit receiving a first opening an air filter housing that surrounds the air filter.
