  • Patent number: 9142115
Abstract: A method for detecting fatigue is provided herein. The present invention includes the following steps: measuring a plurality of physiological feature data from a user in continuous time to generate a feature sequence; computing the rate of drop and/or calculating the difference of the rate of drop based on the feature sequence; and determining the fatigue level of the user by analyzing the rate of drop and the difference of the rate of drop. A fatigue detecting device is also disclosed here. The present invention can be utilized to effectively monitor the fatigue level of the user.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining physical movements of a body organ includes steps of calculating a preliminary average of a plurality of measured data from the body organ at a sampling frequency; receiving an incoming data from the body organ; calculating a signal frequency from the incoming data and the measured data; calculating an average parameter taking the signal frequency and the sampling frequency into consideration; checking if the average parameter is different from a stored parameter; and calculating an average value of the physical movement of the body organ using the average parameter if the average parameter is different from the stored parameter.

  • Publication number: 20140081159
Abstract: A non-invasive continuous blood pressure monitoring system includes a first sensor configured to send a first ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses to an upper site of a blood vessel and receive a first reflected ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses with phase variations caused by a pressure wave propagating in the blood vessel, a second sensor configured to send a second ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses to a lower site of the blood vessel and receive a second reflected ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses with phase variations caused by the pressure wave propagating in the blood vessel, and a signal-processing and blood pressure displaying device configured to calculate an estimated blood pressure by taking into consideration a propagation time of the pressure wave from the upper site to the lower site in the blood vessel.

  • Patent number: 6282494
Abstract: A customer-settled voice navigation apparatus is disclosed which comprises a control unit, a satellite positioning signal receiving unit, a map data supply unit, a carte display unit, a navigating condition setting unit, an audio input unit, a navigating condition and information storage unit, a navigating condition comparing unit an audio output unit, and a voice output requiring unit. According to the invention, the user could settle any desired navigating information itself with respect to any location, area, timing, speed, height, and direction by means of an audio-recording manner at any place. Also, the invention could output audio navigating information previously recorded when the navigating condition designated by the user is matched.
