Abstract: A control apparatus for a broadcast spreader includes a gate adjustment dial mounted on, and generally coaxial with, a handle portion of a handle assembly of the spreader. Rotation of the gate adjustment dial in a first direction causes an increase in a current maximum discharge rate of the spreader and rotation of the gate adjustment dial in a second direction causes a decrease in the current maximum discharge rate of the spreader.

Abstract: Competitors are classified in terms of products the competitors offer. A product set is generated from product information received from a user. Also, a competitor set is generated, where the competitor set comprises at least one competitor determined to be relevant to one or more products in the product set. A target price rule is generated that is operative to change a price offered by the user for the at least one product. A competitors relevancy can be determined by considering factors such as: (1) unique visitors to the competitor's website, (2) reviews on the competitor's website (3), ratings on the competitor's website, (4) absolute number of products common to the user's website and the competitor's website, (5) percentage number of products common to the user's website and the competitor's website, and (6) number of products offered by the competitor that comprise the product set.

Abstract: Receiving and processing user orders may include receiving an order for an order quantity of a product from a user computing device, retrieving a threshold inventory quantity of the product, retrieving a last known inventory quantity of the product, comparing the threshold inventory quantity with the difference between the last known inventory quantity and the order quantity, performing an asynchronous reservation of the quantity of the product when the threshold inventory quantity is less than the difference between the last known inventory quantity and the order quantity, and performing a synchronous reservation of the quantity of the product when the threshold inventory quantity is greater than the difference between the last known inventory quantity and the order quantity.

Abstract: A method of operating a price estimation system includes obtaining service requests from consumers, and obtaining bids from service professionals based on the service requests obtained from the consumers. The method additionally includes generating a training set based on the bids and the service requests, and generating a model for generating price estimates based on the training set. The method also includes employing the model to generate the price estimates based on additional service requests provided by additional consumers. In some aspects, the method further includes communicating the price estimates to the additional consumers during performance of a process for obtaining the additional service requests from the additional consumers. In other aspects, the method further includes communicating the price estimates to additional service professionals during performance of a process for obtaining additional bids from the additional service professionals based on the additional service requests.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and implementations of an online item searching platform having a store-to-store interface are disclosed. At least some versions of the disclosed systems enable a user to perform purchase and pickup transactions for items across multiple remote stores. The disclosed systems may enable a user to separately navigate hierarchical menus, perform text searches, and navigate favorites bars to find and select items for purchase.
