Abstract: An SMT LED device includes an LED and a circuit board carrying the LED. The circuit board has two copper pads thereon, each being provided with a solder on an inner later side thereof which faces the other copper pad. The LED includes two pins and each pin includes a horizontal protrusion and a vertical portion. The LED is mounted on the circuit board between the two copper pads. The solders securely and electrically connect the two pins of the LED with the circuit board.

Abstract: A sliding mechanism is for sliding a cover relative to a body of an electronic device to close and open the electronic device. The sliding mechanism includes a driving assembly capable of sliding between a first position and a second position different from the first position, and an abutting assembly engaging with the driving assembly and capable of sliding between a closed position and an open position. When the driving assembly is driven to slide from the first position to the second position, the abutting assembly is driven to rotate from the closed position to the open position to open the electronic device. When the driving assembly slides back to the first position, the abutting assembly is driven to rotate from the open position to the closed position to close the electronic device. An electronic device using the sliding mechanism is also provided.

Abstract: A method for text editing is provided. The method includes steps: displaying a text file on a touch display screen; displaying a clipboard alongside of the displayed text file; determining selected text in response to a text selection touch operation; generating parameters representative of the selected text in response to the text selection touch operation; copying the parameters to the clipboard and displaying the parameters on the displayed clipboard in response to a use's first loading operation; finding the text in the text file according to the selected parameters displayed on the displayed clipboard in response to a user's parameter selection operation; and copying the found text from the text file to an intended location in response to a user's second loading operation. A related text editing system is also provided.

Abstract: A field emission device includes a cathode and a carbon nanotube (CNT) gate electrode. The CNT gate electrode which is electrically insulated from the cathode includes a CNT layer and a dielectric layer. The CNT layer which has a surface includes a number of micropores. The dielectric layer is coated on the surface of the CNT layer and an inner wall of each of the micropores.

Abstract: A lens assembly testing method includes: providing a lens assembly having a first lens and a second lens placed on the first lens; determining whether a modulation transfer function value of the lens assembly is in a predetermined range; if not, separating the first lens and the second lens, and forming a first coating layer and a second coating layer on the first lens to obtain a coated first lens with a number of dots; capturing two images of the coated first lens; attaching the coated first lens on the second lens, and capturing another two images of the coated first lens; determining an actual moving distance of a chosen dot using a 3D-Digital image correlation method according to the four images; adjusting a size of the first lens according to the actual moving distance; and displaying the adjusted size of the first lens to a user.

Abstract: An automatic wax removing device includes a base, a heating plate, a cooling plate, a first actuator, a second actuator, and an operation plate. The base includes a base plate and a framework. The heating plate is arranged on the base plate. The cooling plate is arranged on the base plate and separated from the heating plate. The first actuator includes a sliding rail and a elongated sliding member on the sliding rail. The sliding rail is fixed on the frame and parallel with the heating plate. The second actuator includes a main body and a rotation shaft arranged on the main body. The main body is slideable along the length of the sliding member. One end of the rotation shaft is connected to the main body. The operation plate is fixed to the other end of the rotation shaft.

Abstract: A calibration method for calibration a tool center point for a robot manipulator includes the steps of: driving the tool to move above one of the inclined surfaces; defining a preset coordinate system TG; rotating the TCP relative to the UG-axis by about 180 degrees, calculating the value of ?w; updating the position parameters of the preset TCP, defining a new preset coordinate system TG?; rotating the TCP relative to the UG?-axis by about 90 degrees, calculating the value of ?v; updating the position parameters of the new preset TCP, defining a new preset coordinate system TG?; driving the tool to move above a planar horizontal surface; rotating the TCP relative to a axis by about 30 degrees, calculating the value of ?u; repeating the aforementioned steps until the deviation ?P (?w, ?v, ?u) is less than or equal to a maximum allowable deviation of the robot manipulator.

Abstract: A mechanism for clamping workpieces includes a base body, a first clamping unit, a second clamping unit, and an inserting member. The base body includes at least two elastic members. Both the first clamping unit and the second clamping unit include a splint assembly movably sleeved on the base body and a moving member. The inserting member is coupled to the base body. When the inserting member is withdrawn from or inserted into a space between the two moving members, the two splint assemblies can be moved away from each other to release a workpiece, or brought together to clamp a workpiece.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of a telephone with handsfree function includes a telephone set and a handset. Two metal pieces are fixed in the handset, and two electromagnetic valves are fixed in the telephone set. A processing circuit in the telephone set powers on the electromagnetic valves when the handsfree function of the telephone is enabled to generate an electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic valves magnetically attract the metal pieces, such that the handset is firmly held on the telephone set.

Abstract: A SIM card authentication system and a SIM card authentication method adapted for a mobile phone are disclosed. Once the mobile phone is lost, when a SIM card is inserted into the mobile phone, the SIM card authentication system controls the mobile phone to display the user interface, the user must input the right authentication phone number to use the mobile phone. If the user inputs a wrong authentication phone number, the user is illegal and cannot use the mobile phone, the system acquires the phone number of the inserted SIM card to notify a legal user. Therefore, the mobile phone protects and hides stored information from the user, and the legal user may get back the mobile phone according to information from the inserted SIM card.

Abstract: A LED tube lamp includes a heat sink, a LED substrate, a pair of connectors, and a cover fixed to the heat sink. The cover includes a first cover and a second cover, at least one optical lens is arranged on the first cover, the at least one optical lens comprises a concave lens and reflective lenses arranged on both sides of the concave lens. The concave lens is configured to refract light beams from the LEDs in a forward direction or in an approximate forward direction, the reflective lenses are configured to reflect light beams from the LEDs in a lateral direction. After the light beams are refracted by the optical lens, the light divergence angle of the LED tube lamp is increased.

The rotatably driven mechanism includes a first driving member and a transmission shaft, the first driving member includes a first main body and an output shaft rotatably connected to first main body, the transmission shaft is fixed to the output shaft. A sliding driving mechanism includes a second driving member, the second driving member includes a second main body and a driving shaft collar connected to the second main body, the second main body is fixed to the first main body. The second main body and driving shaft collar cooperatively define a through hole. The transmission shaft extends through the through hole and is connected to the reducer to enable the polishing mechanism to polish a workpiece. The driving shaft is fixed to the reducer.

Abstract: An auxiliary tool for assembling a number of voice coil motors includes a number of trays, a rod member, and two limiting members. Each tray defines a through hole. The rod member passes through the through holes of the trays. The two limiting members are sleeved over the rod member at two ends of the rod member, the trays being between the two limiting members, each two neighboring trays being configured for clamping a respective one of the voice coil motors.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a first cover, a double sided pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape, a battery, and a second cover. The second cover is attached to the first cover. The battery is arranged between the first cover and the second cover. The second cover defines a groove. A shape of the groove is substantially same as a shape of the PSA tape. The PSA tape covers the groove. Thereby the PSA tape and the groove cooperatively form an air flowing channel having an inlet and an outlet. The battery is fixed to the second cover by the PSA tape. An adhesive force of the PSA tape applied between the battery and the second cover is decreasable by flowing air with temperature greater than a preset value through the air flowing channel so as to enable the battery to detach from the second cover.

Abstract: In a method for protecting software of a computing device, a hypertext preprocessor (PHP) software program of the computing device is encrypted using an encryption rule to obtain an encrypted file. When the encrypted file needs to be decrypted, the method determines whether a predetermined hardware lock is connected to the computing device. When the predetermined hardware lock is not connected to the computing device, the method displays a prompt that indicates the predetermined hardware lock is not connected to the computing device. When the predetermined hardware lock is connected to the computing device, the method decrypts the encrypted file with a decryption rule corresponding to the encryption rule.

Abstract: An electrical connector for use with an electronic package, includes an insulative housing with a number of periphery sidewalls formed with a cavity. A guiding member is located upon the insulative housing, and includes a guiding frame with an opening and a sliding plate moveable mounted in the guiding frame. The electronic package is supported by the guiding member and pulled the sliding plate away from the guiding frame to let the electronic package enter into the cavity by passing through the opening.

Abstract: A traffic lamp includes a white light source, three color adjusting units, a panel, a light absorbing unit and a light diffusion unit. Each color adjusting unit includes a reflector and a color filter. The three color adjusting units are rotatable relative to the light source such that a part of white light emitted from the light source is filtered to be blue and then reflected to project on the panel by one color adjusting unit, and another part of white light is filtered to be green and yellow and then reflected to project on the light absorbing unit by the other two color adjusting units.

Abstract: A light guide plate includes a main body and a number of micro protrusions. The main body includes a light emitting surface, a bottom surface, and a light incident surface. The bottom surface is opposite to the light emitting surface. The light incident surface connects the light emitting surface and the bottom surface. The protrusions are randomly positioned on the light emitting surface, and are used for reflecting light rays towards random directions.

Abstract: A wireless headset includes a wireless module, a headset body and a universal serial bus (USB) connector, the headset body includes a light sensor located on an end of the headset body, and the USB connector includes a plug and a connection line. The connection line is located on a first end of the USB connector and connected to the headset body, the plug is located on a second end of the USB connector, and the plug of the USB connector is connectable to the end of the headset body.
