Abstract: It is an object to provide a machining and conveying apparatus in which a moving range of a movable arm is widened and a degree of operational freedom of the movable arm is heightened so that constraint of a work machining condition can be eased. A machining and conveying apparatus 1 has a first rotational moving unit 15 that is provided between a base end of a movable arm 2 and a base plate 16 so as to rotationally move the movable arm 2 about a rotation shaft 14 vertical to rotation shafts 5, 6 and 7 of joints of the movable arm 2, and a second rotational moving unit 20 that is provided to an arm piece 11 at the base end of the movable arm 2 so as to rotationally move the movable arm 2 about a rotation shaft 19 vertical to both the rotation shaft 14 of the first rotational moving unit and the rotation shafts 5, 6 and 7 of the joints.

  • Patent number: 6368537
Abstract: A laminated plate comprising a glass layer located in front and formed from a glass sheet and a resin layer located at the back of the glass layer and molded from a molten thermoplastic material spread at a low pressure over the glass layer, the glass layer and the resin layer being arranged in a laminated fashion. A method for producing the laminated plate wherein the glass sheet is first provided so as to be in close contact with the inner side of at least either one of dies used in a compression molding machine and then the dies are clamped for compression molding, with the molten resinous material to be supplied to a mold cavity being spread at a low pressure over the glass sheet, whereby the laminated plate comprising, in a laminated fashion, the glass layer composed of the glass sheet and the resin layer molded by spreading the molten resinous material at a low pressure can be formed.

  • Patent number: 5852236
Abstract: In a traverse device mounting type or handy type fluid measuring probe in which a plurality of conductive lines are connected to a contact type sensor element and the conductive lines are covered by a support member, or a test member attachment type fluid measuring probe, a fluid measuring probe is provided in which when the probe head or the support member is brought into contact with other things, an impact force is moderated and a damage of the probe head and the support member is suppressed. When a pressure that is not less than a predetermined pressure is applied to the support member in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the support member, the support member may be bent; when the pressure is released, the support member may be restored; and when the pressure that is not less than the predetermined pressure is not applied, the support member may maintain a predetermined posture.

  • Patent number: 5189910
Abstract: A fluid speed measuring probe utilizing a change in the resistance of a sensor made of a small piece of a single crystal of germanium in accordance with a change in temperature. The peripheral surface of the sensor is covered with an insulating member of a synthetic resin or the like and the outer periphery of the covered sensor is further covered with a spherical metal having heat conductivity. Thus, the directivity of the sensor is eliminated, thereby enabling accurate measurement of the speed of a fluid irrespective of the angle formed between the direction of the flow of the fluid and the probe.

  • Patent number: 4856330
Abstract: A fluid speed or direction measuring apparatus utilizes a sensor where an output changes regularly with respect to a temperature change at the resistance-temperature characteristic of a piece of single crystal germanium, thereby converting the temperature change in the single crystal germanium in contact with the fluid into a resistance change, so that the resistance change is converted into voltage, a current or electric power.
