Abstract: An economizer controller system having a plug and play recognition approach with an automatic user interface population mechanism. A check may be made for sensors connected to the controller. The control type of the sensors may be determined. The menu structure may be repopulated based on the control type. The user interface may then be updated. This approach may be repeated as needed.

Abstract: A system and method obtain a database stored on a storage device containing information on multiple assets, the information including measurements taken from devices monitoring each asset, and context information corresponding to the environment the items are subjected to. The system and method groups assets via a computer system into a homogenous group as a function of selected context information and performs analytics via the computer system on the grouped assets to manage the assets.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system include receiving a trigger in the computer related to job performance in a work environment. The system compares job performance related to the trigger to a worker competency model having behavior indicators of good performance. The comparison of job performance to the worker competency model, behavior indicators, and outcome measures is used to provide an indication of good and poor job performance for a variety of situations. Training, best practices, and effective strategies may also be automatically identified.

Abstract: A MEM's reed switch array is provided having a first switch having a sensitivity causing the first switch to open or close due to a magnetic flux, and a second switch of lesser sensitivity than the first switch causing the second switch to open or close due to a magnetic flux. The first switch can be parallel to the second switch, or the first switch can be proximate to the second switch so that a center line of the first switch is coaxial to a center line of the second switch. Further, a security device for residential and/or commercial use is provided, having a magnet housing having a magnet, a switch housing having a MEM's reed switch array with a first switch and a second switch, and a gap between the magnet housing and the switch housing.

Abstract: A micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) device having a pair of spaced apart top and bottom substrates or cover plates having mutually opposing inner surfaces structured to cooperate with a micro-machined electromechanical device mechanism, such as a micro-machined sensor or actuator mechanism. Such a micro-machined electromechanical device mechanism is coupled to the inner surface of one of the top and bottom substrates. A metal chip bond pad is formed on the inner surface of the bottom substrate and is electrically coupled to an electrical path; another metal chip bond pad formed on the inner surface of the top substrate in a complementary position opposite the chip bond pad on the bottom substrate; and an electrically conductive gold stud bump is mechanically and electrically coupled between the metal chip bond pads on the top and bottom substrates.
