    Abstract: An optical phase modulator comprises a cascaded array of optical resonators, wherein each of the optical resonators has an input port and an output port. A plurality of waveguides are coupled between the optical resonators and are configured to provide cascaded optical communication between the optical resonators. Each of the waveguides is respectively coupled between the output port of one optical resonator and the input port of an adjacent optical resonator. A transmission electrode is positioned adjacent to the optical resonators, with the transmission electrode configured to apply a drive voltage across the optical resonators. The optical phase modulator is operative to co-propagate an input optical wave with the drive voltage, such that a resonator-to-resonator optical delay is matched with a resonator-to-resonator electrical delay.

The mold extractor is set up to reduce a distance between the mold holder and the retainer along the extraction rod such that the mold holder translates into the cavity and imparts a force on the mold portion sufficient to extract the mold portion from the molded part.

A spatial filter is optically coupled to the beam combiner and includes an aperture that receives the combined light signal and emits a filtered light signal. The aperture has an aperture diameter less than or equal to the specified wavelength. A collimator is optically coupled to the spatial filter and receives the filtered light signal and emits a collimated light signal. An output aperture receives the collimated light signal and outputs the collimated light signal as an output light signal towards an optical receiver.

In some examples, the processing circuitry is further configured to determine a presence of ice crystals based on the first magnitude of reflectivity, the second magnitude of reflectivity, and the temporal variance in reflectivity magnitudes.
