Abstract: A motherboard assembly able to use a PCI slot either to expand system function or for the installation of additional memory includes a motherboard and a storage device. The motherboard includes a PCI expansion slot, a platform controller hub (PCH), and a power circuit. The PCI expansion slot includes a protrusion, four idle pins and first signal pins connected to the PCH, and first power pins connected to the power circuit. A control chip, a number of storage chips connected to the control chip, and a power unit are arranged on the storage device. A non-central notch is included in an edge connector arranged on a bottom edge of the storage device and the edge connector allows for power pins connected to the power unit and signal pins connected to the control chip.

Abstract: A keyboard for an electronic device includes a main body, a test indicator positioned on an outside surface of the main body, and an interface electrically connected to both the main body and the test indicator. Both the main body and the test indicator are electrically connected to a main board of an electronic device through the interface. The electronic device can be operated using the keyboard, and the test indicator indicates the working status of the electronic device.

Abstract: An output circuit for audio codec chip includes a noise eliminating circuit electrically coupled to the audio codec chip for eliminating noise signals. The noise eliminating circuit includes a first switch and a second switch. When the audio codec chip output signals jump from low voltage level to high voltage level, the noise signals are grounded via the first and second switches respectively.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body defining an opening, and a key mechanism secured in the opening. The key mechanism includes a fixing mechanism, a circuit board and a key. The fixing mechanism includes a tab and a support. The tab protrudes from a sidewall of the opening. The support includes an elastic supporting rib connected to the tab. The circuit board is fixed on the support and includes a switch. The key is rotatably connected to the fixing mechanism actuates the switch to generate an input signal. The supporting rib applies a restoring force to the key.

Abstract: An exemplary hinge positioning structure (20) includes a pair of first leaves (22), a pivot shaft (262) rotatably engaged in the pair of first leaves, and a pair of pivot shaft grippers (24) sleeved on the pivot shaft. An end of each pivot shaft gripper engaged with each of the first leaves respectively so that the end of each pivot shaft gripper is fixed relative to each of the first leaves.
