Abstract: A system for posting records in customs includes a number of client computers (10), an enterprise server (12), a customs server (16) and a database (14). The client computers provide interfaces for users to input information and obtain information. The enterprise server receives and handles input information, generates records for posting in customs, and transmits the records to the customs server. The enterprise server includes a system configuring module (21), an information maintaining module (22), a records posting module (23), an information enquiring module (24), and a customs data synchronizing module (25). The database stores configured information on an enterprise, contracts, materials and customs, generated records, and customs feedback. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system for synchronizing unstructured documents includes sub-nodes (110, 120, 130) and a network connecting the sub-nodes together. Each sub-node includes a database server (113, 123, 133), an FTP (file transfer protocol) server, and client computers (111, 121, 131). The database server includes a summary table (400) for storing a summary of all unstructured documents, and has the function of synchronizing with summary tables stored in other sub-nodes. The FTP server stores unstructured documents, and has the function of downloading unstructured documents from the FTP servers of other sub-nodes. Each client computer includes a client proxy. The client proxy includes a database processing module for generating instructions on updating, searching, and deleting data stored in the database server, a file processing module for generating instructions on downloading unstructured documents from the FTP servers of other sub-nodes, and a client processing module for receiving sync orders from users.

Abstract: A front panel (1) for an optical disc drive includes a main body (2) having an aperture (25) and a plurality of first fixing elements (26) adjacent to the aperture, and an operating unit (3) received in the aperture. The operating unit has two operating buttons (32, 33) adapted to control corresponding circuits of the optical disc drive, a fastening frame (30) fastened on the main body, and two elastic arms (35) interconnecting the operating buttons and the fastening frame. The fastening frame includes a plurality of second fixing elements (31) adapted to force-fittingly engage with the first fixing elements.

Abstract: An image measurement system and method for obtaining measurement data on objects by processing images of the objects is provided. The image measurement system includes an image obtaining device (101) for obtaining a first image of an object to be measured and a second image of a standard object, and a plurality of measurement computers (103) linked to the image obtaining device via a communication network (102). The measurement computers are used for processing the first image and the second image to obtain measurement data on the object. Each of the measurement computers comprises an image obtaining module (210), an image processing module (220), and an image measuring module (230).

Abstract: A connecting structure for a flip cover battery compartment of a mobile phone comprises a base (1), a connecting member (2), a cover (3), a shaft (4), two springs (5), and two pins (6). The base comprises a receiving part (164) and a recessed portion (194). The recessed portion is for receiving a battery. Two hinges (22) is formed on one end of the connecting member. The cover comprises a pair of rails (322). The shaft extends through holes of the springs. The connecting member is connected to the springs by the pins. The connecting member can slide along the rails of the cover. Thus the combined cover and connecting member is rotatable relative to the base, and the cover is slidable relative to the connecting member so that the cover can be locked to the base in a closed position.

Abstract: An optical reproducing/recording apparatus (100) has a core (1), a frame (2), a top cover (4), a bottom cover (5), a drawer (3), a front panel (7) and anti-dust elements (61-65). The top and bottom covers, the frame, and the front panel engage each other to form an enclosure enclosing the core. At least one of the top and bottom covers has a plurality of position holes (431) by which the reproducing/recording apparatus is fixed in a computer. The anti-dust elements are attached to the at least one cover and drawer and cover the position holes and gaps.

Abstract: An optical reproducing/recording apparatus (1) includes a chassis (11) with a first seat (17) and three second seats (16), a turntable (12), an optical pickup head (13) and a guide device (15). The turntable is located on the chassis for rotating an optical disk positioned thereon. The guide device has a first and second beams (151, 152). An end of the first beam is fixed on the first seat, the other end of the first beam and two ends of the second beam are respectively fixed on the second seats by an adjustable device (18). Each second seat has a groove for accommodating the beam and each adjustable device comprises an elastic element (182) and an adjustable element (181). The elastic element is positioned between the beam and a bottom of the groove and the adjustable element fixes the beam in the groove against a side of said groove.

The system includes a plurality of operation terminals (62) located in various warehouses (6) for inputting information on inventory received in and sent out from the warehouses, a database (21) for storing the information input by the operation terminals, and a virtual warehouse searching module (201) installed in a central management unit (200) for searching for the information on the inventory. The virtual warehouse searching module provides a computer-generated three-dimensional diagram of each warehouse which closely simulates an actual layout of the warehouse. A quantity searching module (202) is for searching for a quantity of inventory in each storage area of any warehouse using a computer-generated three-dimensional diagram. A total cost searching module (203) is for searching for a total cost of inventory in each storage area of any warehouse using a computer-generated three-dimensional diagram.

Abstract: An optical disc driver includes a tray (20) and a driver housing (30). A locating cylinder (328) is formed at a rear of the driver housing. A through slot (329) is defined vertically in the middle of the locating cylinder, and divides the locating cylinder into two parts. A locating slot (228) is defined at a rear end of the tray, and an opening (229) is defined between a rear edge of the tray and the locating slot. The width of the opening is wider than that of the locating slot, and the opening broadens as it nears the rear edge of the tray, allowing the locating cylinder to be easily received and guided into the locating slot. This arrangement allows the tray to be firmly positioned in the driver housing.

The application server includes an authority setting module (31), an authority verification module (32), a data management module (33), and an authority modifying module (34). The authority setting module is provided for defining system operations, user types and user authorities for ACLs (access control lists). Each ACL includes a database name list (105), a user name list (106), a user type list (107), a user authority list (108), and an ACL modifying interface (109). The system database stores a plurality of ACLs, operation definition data, type definition data, and authority definition data. A related method for adding, deleting and/or modifying authorities of a user by using ACLs is also disclosed.

Abstract: A computer-aided manufacturing system for sheet-metal punching includes client computers (6), a server (1), and a database (2). The client computers are used for transmitting client drawings to the server, and obtaining machining drawings from the server. The database is used for storing the client drawings, punching tool information, turret information, punching tool layout information, relevant production management information, machining drawings of workpieces, and statements for control of machining processes. The server is connected to a production management system (3) through a network (4), and is used for automatically selecting, mounting and laying out punching tools, optimizing turrets, simulating machining of workpieces, and exporting CNC (computer numerical control) code files, types of machines, machining information on workpieces and materials of the workpieces to the production management system in order to have statements for control of relevant machining processes generated.

Abstract: A system for automatically generating a report on an object comprises a form management module (410), a report processing module (420), and a column management module (430). The form management module comprises a form receiving sub-module (411) for receiving report templates provided by users, and a form classifying sub-module (412) for classifying the report templates. The report processing module includes a column setting sub-module (421) for setting columns of the report templates, and a report generating sub-module (422) for obtaining data on the object and for generating reports by using the data and the columns of the report templates. The column management module is used for storing columns set by the column setting sub-module. A method for automatically generating a report on an object is also disclosed.

The disk clamper includes a clamping body (12), a magnet (14), and a clip (16). The clamping body and the clip are respectively positioned on lower and upper sides of the supporting device, and fixed together through the hole. The magnet is sandwiched between the clamping body and the clip. In use, because of attraction of the magnet and the magnetic element, opposite sides of an optical disk (220) are respectively clamped by the clamping body and the turntable.

Abstract: A combined bearing includes a main body (10) and a mating member (30). The main body is generally cylindrical, with an axial hole (16) and a cutout (18) defined therein. The cutout is generally semi-cylindrical and spans from an outer surface (14) of the main body to the axial hole of the main body. The mating member has a same configuration as the cutout of the main body and can be inserted into the cutout to provide a complete cylinder having the axial hole therein. The main body and the mating member are made of different materials, one is metal alloy which is capable of impregnating lubricant oil therein, the other is ceramic having high hardness. Thus, the combined bearing may combine the advantages of an oil impregnated bearing and the advantages of a ceramic bearing.

The apparatus resides in the server, and is used for receiving drawings from the client computers to obtain information on workpieces, selecting punching tools in accordance with sizes and shapes of each type of drawing entity of the workpieces and in accordance with materials of the workpieces and machining allowances set by users, selecting a corresponding tool station on the turret for each of the selected punching tools in accordance with a type of the turret and specifications of the selected punching tool, mounting each punching tool on the corresponding tool station, selecting an optimum manufacturing path for each punching tool, and recording punching tool layout information. A related method is also provided.
