Abstract: An angle adjusting mechanism includes a base seat, a driving assembly, a guiding assembly and an adjusting member. The driving assembly is mounted on the base seat. The driving assembly includes a driving member, a screw rod rotated by the driving member and a screw nut sleeved on the screw rod. The driving member is mounted on the base seat. The screw nut engages with the screw rod and is capable of moving along an axial direction of the screw rod. The guiding assembly is mounted on the base seat and guides the screw nut. The adjusting member is sleeved on the guiding assembly and rotated by the screw nut to a predetermined angle.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a connector and a fixing member. The connector defines a memory slot to receive a bottom side of a memory card. The fixing member includes a fixing portion pivotably mounted to the connector, and a holding portion connected to the fixing portion. The holding portion includes an arm defining a receiving slot to receive an end of the memory card, and a top wall binding a top end of the receiving slot. The fixing portion is rotated down relative to the connector to a position such that the holding portion is pulled down to allow the top wall to abut against a top side of the memory slot. When the fixing portion is rotated upward relative to the connector, the holding portion is allowed to move upward to disengage the top wall from the memory card.

The first cover is capable of sliding relative to the second cover. The first cover forms two latch portions and two guide portions. The second cover has a sidewall and defines a receptacle. Each locking assembly includes a control, a resilient member, and a guide member. The control mounted on the second cover partially extends into the receptacle of the second cover. The resilient member, received in the second cover, has two ends respectively resisting the second cover and a latch portion of the first cover. The guide member passes through the resilient member, a latch portion, and a guide portion.

Abstract: A sliding mechanism includes an outer rail, an inner rail, a middle rail and a latching assembly. The middle rail has a resisting portion and is slidably mounted to the outer rail and the inner rail is slidably mounted to the middle rail. The latching assembly includes a first protrusion, a second protrusion, a third protrusion, a first roller and a second roller, a latching slot and a stopping surface. When the inner rail slides relative to the middle rail, the first protrusion resists the first roller so the middle rail sliding with the inner rail; and then the first roller slides along the third protrusion to release the first roller from the first protrusion. The second roller then slides in the latching slot until the resisting portion resists the stopping surface; and then the first roller slides along the first protrusion so the inner rail further extends relative to the middle rail.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism includes: a battery holder comprising a hollow sleeve, the sleeve defining a chamber to receive a battery and an opening extending along a direction substantially parallel to a center axis of the battery holder; and a resilient battery cover sealing the opening of the battery holder. The sleeve further includes a latching portion defined in an inner surface thereof adjacent to the opening; and the resilient battery cover further includes at least one latching hook locked with the latching portion.

Abstract: According to another aspect, an optical recording and/or reproducing apparatus includes a frame, a spindle motor, a pair of parallel guide rails, an optical pickup head, and a shield mounted on the guide rails. The shield extends a protection surface higher than a lens of the optical pickup head. The protection surface is in an optical disc region and lowers than the optical disc when the optical disc is supported on the spindle motor.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus is provided for a storage device. The mounting apparatus includes a bracket, and an operating device. The bracket includes a first fixing arm, and a second fixing arm each forming a latching portion on an inside surface thereof, for engaging the storage device. The first fixing arm forms a receiving arm perpendicularly extending out from an end thereof. A sliding arm perpendicularly extends out from the second fixing arm and slidably received in the receiving arm. A locking portion is formed on the sliding arm. The operating device is rotatably attached to the received arm. The operating device includes an operating portion exposed out of the bracket, and an engaging surface. The operating portion is manipulated to allow the engaging surface to engage and disengage a side of the locking portion facing the second fixing arm.

The micrometer is fixed to the holding member and includes an extendable measuring shaft with a contacting portion extending out of the reference platform. The distance is measured by pushing the workpiece into the depression until the base surface make contact with the reference platform.

Abstract: A hinge assembly includes a first bracket, a second bracket, a damping member, and a torsion resilient member. The first bracket defines a damping protrusion. The second bracket is rotatable relative to the first bracket. The damping member defines a depression. The damping protrusion is configured to engage with the depression. The torsion resilient member urges the first bracket to rotate relative to the second bracket and the damping member. The engagement of damping protrusion and the depression prevents the first bracket from rotating when the first bracket rotates through a predetermined angle. When the first bracket rotates through the predetermined angle relative to the second bracket and the damping member, the first bracket together with the damping member are rotatable relative to the second bracket to any desired angle.

Abstract: A method of sorting web pages includes the steps of acquiring a plurality of forbidden keywords, receiving information of a list of web pages provided by a search engine, separating the web pages into valid web pages and invalid web pages according to forbidden keywords, rearranging the information of the valid web pages and the invalid web pages, and outputting the rearranged information of the valid web pages and the invalid web pages. The application server includes: a point cloud inputting module (10) for obtaining point cloud data and constructing an electronic figure according to the point cloud data; a figure changing module (11) for changing positions or views of the figure in the three-dimensional space; a point cloud cutting module (12) for cutting the point cloud automatically by executing a preestablished program; and a storing module (13) for storing the preestablished program and the point cloud after having been cut. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cable test apparatus includes a power supply terminal, an open circuit indicator with an anode connected to the power supply terminal, a short circuit indicator, a first interface, a second interface, and a switch. The first interface and the second interface have a plurality of pins thereon. In the first interface, a first pin is connected to a cathode of the open circuit indicator, a second pin is connected to an anode of the short circuit indicator, a third pin is grounded, the other pins are shorted. The pins of the second interface are shorted as well. Therefore all wires of the cable are connected in series, even wires located at one side of the short circuit indicator, and odd wires are located at the other side of the short circuit indicator. In a short circuit test, the switch connects the second pin and a fourth pin; in an open circuit test, the switch connects the fourth pin and the cathode of the short circuit indicator and shorts the open circuit indicator.
