Abstract: A server casing using a sliding apparatus for easy insertion and removal of blade servers includes a chassis and the sliding apparatus. The chassis includes a blocking member. The sliding apparatus includes a first fastening plate, a second parallel fastening plate being mounted to the first fastening plate. A sliding plate is slidably connected to the second fastening plate. The sliding plate is received between first and second fastening plates and there is a locking member with first and second ends. The first end is rotatably connected to the second fastening plate and includes a locking portion, the second end is connected to the sliding plate. The locking portion can move between a locking position, where the locking member is locked by the blocking member, and an unlocking position, where the locking member is unlocked by the blocking member.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting hard disk drive and storage device without the use of tools includes a supporting base, a fixing arm, and a rotating arm parallel with the fixing arm. The fixing arm includes a fixing plate with an end fixed to the supporting base and first mounting pins perpendicularly connected to the fixing plate. The rotating arm includes a rotating plate with an end rotatably connected to the supporting base and second mounting pins are perpendicularly connected to the rotating plate. The rotating plate is rotatable between a closed and pin-aligned position, where the rotating plate is substantially parallel with the fixing plate, and an open position in which the mounting pins have been rotated out of alignment.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting hard disk drive and storage device without the use of tools or fasteners includes a supporting base comprising opposite ends, elastic connecting members, and two side plates connected perpendicularly and respectively to opposite ends of the supporting base. Each side plate comprises one or more internal mounting pins and corresponding mounting holes are defined in sides of hard disk drive or storage device. A rotating plate is rotatable between closed and opened positions, the rotating plate can be closed to align the pins so as to clamp the device in place, or opened.

The structural column is made from a single piece of flat sheet metal and the shapes of the bent portions and their respective interactions, without fasteners or other joining means, provide high strength and light weight.

Abstract: A virtual network switching system for communicating with a plurality of physical network interface cards (NICs) of different connectivity specifications includes a building module, a mapping module, a determining module, and a control module. The building module builds a virtual switch, a plurality of virtual servers, and a plurality of virtual NICs in a server according to a received command. The mapping module builds a mapping relation between a first virtual server and a first virtual NIC according to a first virtual server network requirement, and transmits an access request from the first virtual NIC to a first physical NIC. The control module allows the first virtual NIC to access first physical NIC if the available resource of the first physical NIC is greater than the predetermined value. A method for building the virtual networking switch system is also provided.

Abstract: A case includes a shell, a sliding member, and an operating member. The shell defines a through hole. The sliding member includes an abutting portion. The operating member is rotatably fixed to the shell and slidably connected to the sliding member. The operating member rotates in a first direction to drive the sliding member to slide in a second direction and the abutting portion abuts the stopping portion to be pushed out of the through hole. The operating member rotates in a direction opposite to the first direction to drive the sliding member to slide in a direction opposite to the second direction and the stopping portion moves into the through hole.

Abstract: A virtual desktop system includes a thin client, a virtual desktop managing device, a domain managing device, and a virtualization server. The virtualization server includes at least one virtual machine and virtual desktop. The thin client receives input from a user, and communicates with the virtual desktop managing device by network. The virtual desktop managing device communicates with the domain managing device and virtualization server by network. The domain managing device verifies a domain account of the user according to the inputted information and returns a verification or non-verification to the virtual desktop managing device. The virtual desktop managing device obtains an internet protocol (IP) address of the virtual machine from the virtualization server and returns such IP address to the thin client to enable log-in. A virtual desktop control method is also provided.

Abstract: A server IP address assignment system which can automatically assign IP address for servers includes a data center management system (DCMS) server, a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server, a plurality of switches, and a plurality of servers. The DCMS server obtains a location table of the servers and the switches based upon initial data center construction details, and assigns an IP address to each of the servers, the location table with these assignments is then transmitted to the DHCP server. The server transmits a DHCP packet to the switch, and the switch adds an Option82 message into the DHCP packet and transmits an added DHCP packet to the DHCP server. The DHCP server analyzes the Option82 message of the DHCP packet to obtain the IP address and assigns the IP address to the server. A server IP address assignment method is also provided.

Abstract: A warning device used for road safety includes a warning sign and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a base, a driving unit, at least one wheel, a plurality of supporting units, and a plurality of driving members. The driving unit is accommodated in the base. The at least one wheel is connected to and driven by the driving unit. The plurality of supporting units are movably connected to the base. The plurality of driving members can manipulate the supporting units. Each of the supporting units is movable between a receiving or retracted position and a supporting or extended position. For stability in placement, the device can be lifted a small distance above the road by the supporting units when these are deployed. The driving mechanism is also disclosed.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a first and second printed boards, a bottom plate fixed to first printed board, first and second rotating arms, and an electronic member. The first rotating arm has first and second ends and the second rotating arm includes third and fourth ends. The first and third ends are rotatably fixed to the bottom plate. The fourth end defines a sliding groove into which the second end is slidably fixed. When the second end rotates around the first end toward the bottom plate, the second end slides along the sliding groove and the third end rotates toward the bottom plate. An elastic member is between the first rotating arm and the bottom plate and when the first rotating arm rotates, the elastic member abuts against the bottom plate to drive the first printed board to move toward the second printed board.

Abstract: A supporting base for servers of different types and sizes includes two sliding rails and a mounting apparatus. The supporting base includes sliding portions on each side and supporting brackets corresponding to the two sliding portions. When the two supporting brackets are unmounted, the supporting base and sliding rails have a first distance, and when the two supporting brackets are mounted to the two sliding portions, the two sliding rails have a second distance.

Abstract: A warning apparatus includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to detect whether there is an object in front of the warning apparatus, calculate, when there is an object detected in front of the warning apparatus, a distance between the object and the warning apparatus, determine whether the calculated distance is less than a safe distance, and control the warning apparatus, when the calculated distance is less than the safe distance, to output a first control signal to control warning equipment to output a first warning.

Abstract: A data communication system applied in an Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) bus includes a complex programmable logic device (CPLD) and a communication device. The CPLD includes a signal obtaining unit, a counting unit, and a comparing unit. The signal obtaining unit obtains SDA and SCL signals of the I2C bus of the communication device, and transmits same to the counting unit. The counting unit counts the valid data of the SDA within one clock cycle of the SCL signal to get a count value, and transmits the count value to the comparing unit. The comparing unit compares the count value with a second preset value, and outputs the corresponding data in decoded form according to the result of comparison.

Abstract: A vehicle warning system includes a warning tripod and a portable electronic device able to communicate with the warning tripod. Based on a location of a stationary vehicle or other road obstacle, the portable electronic device controls the warning tripod to automatically move to a position to warn other vehicles, and after the warning function is carried out, the portable electronic device controls the warning tripod to automatically move back to the stationary vehicle.

Abstract: A cooling device applied to a server or other casing reduces airflow resistance. A covered chassis defines a accommodating groove and includes two opposite ends, an air inlet located at one end and an air outlet located at the other end, the air outlet communicating with the air inlet. The cover of the chassis is mounted adjacent a side of the chassis and seals the accommodating groove. The cover defines first and second openings corresponding to the accommodating groove. Part of cooling air exits the casing through the accommodating groove and the air outlet, the rest of the cooling air exits the casing through the first opening, re-enters the casing through the second opening and exits the casing through the air outlet.

Abstract: A case for servers or other devices allowing full access without disassembly includes housing and sliding cover. A receiving space in housing includes a first space and a second space. The sliding cover is in two parts. The first part sliding cover covers the first space and the second part sliding cover covers the second space. The first part sliding cover can slide out of the receiving space to allow the second covering body to move to the empty space. The first part sliding cover is rotatable around the second part to expose one half portion of the case. When the first part slides out of the receiving space to rotate to being above the second part, the second part can slide so as to uncover the remaining half portion of the case.

Abstract: A server rack configured to provide electrical connections with data storage modules upon contact includes a shell and a slide rail module slidably installed on the shell. The shell includes a power supply module. The slide rail module itself is electrically conductive and provided with a cable at each end. Abstract: A server rack includes a shell and a plurality of brackets configured to receive a plurality of data storages. The data storages are electrically connected to the bracket. The shell includes a power supply module configured to provide power to the data storages, and an adapter plate connected with the power supply module through a cable. The bracket is electrically connected to a connecting device. When the bracket is slid in the shell, the connecting device closely contacts the adapter plate to be electrically connected with the adapter plate, and the data storages are thus electrically connected with the power supply module.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for mounting a hard disk drive which does not require screws or tools includes bracket and latching unit. The bracket includes a bottom plate and parallel side plates. The several latching units are rotatably connected to a lower side of the side plate, a free end of the latching unit defines a latching portion. The side plate defines a latching slot corresponding to the latching portion, and when the latching unit is rotated to abut the side plate, the latching portion is latched in the latching slot and holds a hard disk drive strongly and stably in an receiving space defined by the bottom plate and the side plates.
