Abstract: Provided is a technology of allowing operation of four push buttons of a controller including the four push buttons provided in place of a cross key pad as if operating the cross key pad. The controller includes a third push-button input module (142) being a cylindrical recess including four push buttons (142A to 142D) on a bottom surface of the third push-button input module (142). A recessed portion (142E) is formed in the bottom surface. Meanwhile, the controller includes a cover member (200) having a circular plate portion (211) including a cross-key-pad portion (212). A column portion having a circular column shape is provided on a back surface of the cover member (200). The cover member (200) is fixed to the third push-button input module (142) through insertion of the column portion into the recessed portion (142E). When a user presses the cross-key-pad portion (212), freely selected one of the four push buttons (142A to 142D) positioned below the circular plate portion (211) can be pressed.

Abstract: A game machine controller, which is used in combination with a mouse and is connected to a game machine to be used is improved so that a user is free from feeling strange about its input. As illustrated in FIG. 6 (A), a game machine controller (1) and a mouse (2) are connected to a game machine (3) via an output cable (172) and a mouse cable (210), respectively. A signal output from the game machine controller (1) to the game machine (3) is a keyboard control signal generally output from a keyboard to the game machine (3). With this, the game machine (3) recognizes the game machine controller (1) as the keyboard. As a result, the game machine (3) receive and recognize WASD input in a vertical or horizontal direction from the game machine controller (1) and input from the mouse (2) in a direction that is not limited to the vertical or horizontal direction.

Abstract: To improve handheld controllers for game machines so that they hardly drop from the users' hand. A controller for game machines is held and manipulated with the left hand. The controller for game machines includes a main body 100 and a grip 120. The main body 100 is equipped with a first input device 130 that is manipulated with the thumb and a second input device 140 that is manipulated with the index finger and middle finger. To the main body 100, a loop-shaped band 200 is attached with both ends thereof secured to the main body 100. Users manipulate the controller for game machines while holding the grip 120 using the palm and the fingers other than the thumb of the left hand resting under the band 200.

Abstract: To allow users who usually play games on a personal computer to enter input to game consoles for domestic use without being stressed. A controller system for game consoles is made up of a game console controller 100 and a mouse 200. The mouse 200 is identical to an ordinary mouse. The game console controller 100 has a structure resembling a part of a keyboard that is used for common personal computers and equipped with at least six keys 120 in a 2-by-3 array. The mouse 200 and the game console controller 100 can be attached to and removed from each other via a cable 210 extending from the mouse 200. The connection between them is an USB connection.
