  • Patent number: 9253824
Abstract: A small steam generator uses a cylindrical steam generation vessel having a steam generation portion formed to store an amount of water for generating steam and a steam passage portion formed on the upper end of the steam generation portion for spouting steam generated in the steam generation portion. A heater element is disposed within the steam generation vessel, and an induction heating coil is wound around the periphery of the steam generation vessel for energizing the heater element. The heater element is energized by supply of electric power to the heating coil so that steam generated by boiling of the water in the steam generation portion spouts upward from the steam passage.

  • Patent number: 9146049
Abstract: An automatic ice making machine is provided that is capable of modifying an amount of feeding water depending on a temperature of makeup water. The automatic ice making machine is equipped with a deicing timer 42 to keep time of a deicing completion time period T1 in which deicing operation is completed. In addition, in a control means 24, a deicing water longest supply time period U1 is preset, which is a longest time period to supply deicing water in deicing operation. In a case where the deicing water is low in temperature, so that the deicing progresses slowly and thus the deicing completion time period T1 becomes equal to or greater than the deicing water longest supply time period U1, the control means 24 carries out water feeding in a feeding amount of water at low temperature at the time of water feeding.

  • Patent number: 9131825
Abstract: This dishwasher utilizes a rod 58 whose upper end is linked to the proximal end of a rotary arm 10, and compression springs 53 and 54 linked to the proximal end of the rotary arm 10 via the rod 58. Thus, even if the compression springs 53 and 54 break, the elastic force of the compression springs 53 and 54 themselves is maintained, and furthermore, the compression springs 53 and 54 continue to be supported by the lower end of the rod 58 in a state of being positionally restricted with respect to a dishwasher main body 2. This prevents a door 7 in an open state from suddenly falling.

  • Patent number: 8844312
Abstract: A method of operating an ice making machine efficiently provides clean ice blocks. A special water-discharge operation which is performed when an ice storage switch (TS) provided at an ice storage chamber (16) storing ice blocks (M) separated in a deicing operation detects that the ice storage chamber (16) is full of ice discharges the ice-making water from the ice-making water tank (20) via water discharge means (44) by releasing a water discharge valve (DV) provided at the water discharge means (44). Then, the special water-discharge operation is terminated by closing the water discharge valve (DV) when a preset duration time (T) passes after a float switch (FS) provided at the ice-making water tank (20) detects an ice-making completion water level (LWL) of the ice-making water in the ice-making water tank (20) after discharge of the ice-making water to outside is started.

  • Patent number: 8499574
Abstract: While an inverter compressor 32 is driven in a control range, an actual temperature drop S is calculated based on a detected inside temperature TR at every predetermined sampling time. Further, a target temperature drop Ac for the inside temperature TR is taken out of data on a cooling characteristic Xc. If the actual temperature drop S is smaller than the target temperature drop Ac, the inverter compressor 32 is controlled to increase a speed thereof. If it is larger, the inverter compressor 32 is controlled to decrease the speed. Inside of a cold storage is cooled down along the cooling characteristic Xc through those controls. Especially after the inside temperature TR has decreased from an upper limit temperature TH and reached the target temperature To, the speed of the inverter compressor 32 is controlled such that the target temperature drop remains at substantially zero (cooling characteristic Xc2).

  • Patent number: 8387826
Abstract: A beverage dispenser has gauges to measure the temperature of the beverage, in at least one embodiment beer, stored in a closed beverage container. The beverage is pressurized and a pressure gauge in the gas supply conduit line measures the pressure of the gas in the beverage container. A pressure regulator in the gas supply conduit line assists in ensuring that the pressure is consistent. The valve is closed during dispensation and the temperature and the gas pressure are measured immediately afterwards. By calculating the temperature change of the beverage and the pressure drop in the container, the amount of beverage can be calculated accurately. This in turn can be utilized to reliably calculate how beverage is left in the container and this information is then presented on a display, in at least one embodiment, as a series of indicator bars.

  • Patent number: 8365543
Abstract: A liquid refrigerant from a compressor and a condenser is alternately supplied to a cooling device for the freezing room 27F and an evaporator for refrigeration room through a three-way valve, so as to conduct the cooling of a freezing room and a refrigeration room. When the thermal load condition of a refrigerating cycle is light, the three-way valve switches to the “F side opened-state” after the compressor is stopped, and thereby conducting pressure balancing, without the liquid refrigerant flowing into the evaporator for refrigeration room. A cooling storage, wherein from one compressor a refrigerant is selectively supplied to multiple evaporators, is constituted so as to prevent one evaporator side from becoming a supercooled state, and furthermore, quickly conduct pressure balancing after stop of the compressor.
