Abstract: A method and system for dynamically providing the on-demand addition of graphic and other information to a web brower's toolbar. The HotbarToolbar comprises a plurality of categorized or rated links, which in the presently preferred embodiment are organized under customized, newly and dynamically added toolbar buttons known as hotbuttons. The name and/or content of the hotbuttons may change dynamically in accordance with various factors (including, but not limited to, changes in URL).

Abstract: A plug-in is provided to existing electronic message programs, such as electronic mail message programs, to provide a virtual toolbar therein. The virtual toolbar includes one or more virtual buttons that allow a user to select multimedia content to be added to an electronic message. The multimedia content may include, without limitation, any one or more of: graphics, audio, animation, video and text selections. The multimedia content may further include customizable templates in which business messages may be generated. The virtual buttons may be each be assigned to one category of related content, such as Backgrounds for providing graphic backgrounds to a message, Holiday Themes for providing multimedia content associated with particular holidays, Animations for including FLASH animations or the like to a message, and Text for including pre-formatted text to a message.

Abstract: A method and system for providing the on-demand addition of graphic and other information to the browser's toolbar of a web surfer. A plug-in is installed or caused to be installed in the browser of the web surfer, and the information is allowed to be added to and/or modified in the toolbar area of the browser by the action of the plug-in. The information comprises a skin or a plurality of categorized or rated links, added to the links line of the toolbar. The skin may comprise a message, such as a greeting or an advertisement. The plug-in and the information may be provided to the surfer by a service web site.
