The system includes a plurality of workstations, each workstation including an assembling area for assembling orders, an assembly line system configured to deliver items to the plurality of workstations, and a computing system to execute the steps of: receiving an order notification indicating an order, identifying items included in the order, assigning a corresponding workstation to the order, and operating the assembly line system to deliver the identified items included in the order to the corresponding workstation.

Abstract: A widget device for use in delivering products or items stored on a storage unit to a transfer system, is described herein. The widget device includes a shell, a positioning magnet mounted to the shell and deployable to selectively contact the storage unit to hold the widget device at a desired location associated with a corresponding product or item, and a processor programmed to operate the positioning magnet to control a position of the widget device with respect to the storage unit.

The system includes a drive-through lane, a check-in unit associated with the drive through lane, a cashier workstation, an assembly line system configured to deliver grocery items to the cashier workstation, and a computing system. The computer system includes a processor programmed to operate the assembly line system to deliver grocery items to the cashier workstation by receiving first information from a main assembly line scanning device indicating the grocery items being transported by a main assembly line, receiving second information from the workstation scanning device indicating a corresponding grocery item included in a grocery order is adjacent to the cashier workstation, and displaying a notification message on a monitor display screen indicating the corresponding grocery item is adjacent to the cashier workstation.

Abstract: A system including a storage unit operable for distributing retail products or items. A baseboard section is disposed on a proximate bottom portion of the storage unit. The baseboard includes a compartmentalized segment that is configured to store perishable products or items. A widget sensor detects if a product or item is added or removed from the compartment areas. A shelving section is disposed on a top portion of the baseboard section. The shelving section includes at least one or more shelves that are configured to stack on top of each other. A widget device fetches and delivers the products or items. A shelf back door includes magnetic materials that are configured to guide the widget device.

The system includes a plurality of color-coded drive-through lanes, a plurality of check-in units with each check-in unit being associated with a corresponding color-coded drive through lane and including a computer check-in device, a plurality of color-coded cashier workstations, an assembly line system configured to deliver grocery items to each of the plurality of color-coded cashier workstations, and a computing system. The computer system includes a processor programmed to receive a check-in notification from a computer check-in device, identify a color-coded drive through lane associated with the computer check-in device, identify a grocery order associated with the check-in notification, and operate the assembly line system to deliver grocery items included in the identified grocery order to a corresponding color-coded cashier workstation associated with the identified color-coded drive through lane.
