Abstract: An antenna system that is insensitive to the surface on which it is mounted for use with a RFID tag having a wireless communication device, including a plurality of conductive tabs coupled to the wireless communication device for receiving and radiating radio frequency energy. At least two of the tabs are substantially identical in shape and coupled to the wireless communication device at feedpoint differing in location on each of the two tabs wherein the width of said at least two of said plurality of tabs taken transverse to the longitudinal centerline axis of each tab varies with distance along the longitudinal centerline axis of each of said tabs from its feedpoint. Alternatively, the wireless communication device is coupled to the tab at a feedpoint selected at a location differing on each of the tabs where the conducting area per unit length of the longitudinal centerline axis of each tab varies with distance along the longitudinal centerline axis of each of said tabs from its feedpoint.

  • Publication number: 20040111989
Abstract: A method for interlocking building panels that have a channel integrally formed in and substantially coextensive with each panel edge so that abutting panel edges form a generally vertical joint post channel and adjacent panel edges form a generally horizontal beam channel, atop a poured foundation or other supporting structure to fabricate a building wall, which includes the steps of: placing into the supporting structure at the point on the supporting structure where the joint post channels are formed between abutting panels, a first rebar that extends at least partially into the joint post channel; inserting a second rebar into the joint post channel so that a first end is juxtaposed with the extending end of the first rebar, and a second, opposite end extends from the joint post channel; bending the second, extending end of the second rebar so that once bent, it lies in the generally horizontal beam channel intersecting with the joint post channel; and, filling both the generally vertical joint post chann

  • Publication number: 20030079438
Abstract: A molded composite construction panel formed in a vertically oriented continuous molding procedure included a lightweight cellular core of rigid foam material and a relatively thin skin of fiber reinforced concrete encasing the core. The panel further including at least one integrally formed multi-faceted channel being substantially coextensive with at least one edge of the panel. A method of forming a building panel is also disclosed comprising the steps of providing a mold having a mold cavity, disposed vertically, that defines the mold surface for forming the exposed finish surfaces of a molded wall panel, where the mold cavity bottom and side edge walls define the edge walls of the molded wall panel. A foam insert is positioned and secured in the mold cavity. A slurry of concrete, sand, and fiber strands is formed to produce a homogeneous panel mixture. The mold cavity is filled with the panel mixture.
