    Abstract: In a premixing combustion device (1) for a heating boiler, comprising a blower (2) which delivers a combustion mixture composed of fuel and air from an outlet opening (8) of the blower (2) via a burner cylinder (9) to a combustion zone, wherein a mixing device (3) arranged upstream of the blower (2) prepares the combustion mixture, it is sought to provide a solution which, in a structurally simple manner, ensures reliable starting of the heating boiler and prevents failures. This is achieved by means of a throughflow reduction device (10) which is arranged between the outlet opening (8) of the blower (2) and the burner cylinder (9) and which has a throughflow reduction element (13) which can be adjusted between a position in which it opens the outlet opening (8) of the blower (2) and a position in which it reduces the size of the outlet opening (8) of the blower (2).

The heat exchanging device contains a humidifying device used to spray water into the process air. In this way, the process air is adiabatically cooled and the corresponding cooling is carried out by heat exchange with the circulating air. Before entering the first heat exchanging device and before leaving same, the process air is guided through a second heat exchanging device in which the cooled process air first extracts heat from the uncooled process air. This increases the cooling performance of the device.

    Abstract: The apparatus has a pneumatic controller, which controls the pressure in a gas conduit (1) in dependence on the pressure in an air conduit (2). Provided downstream of the regulator is a mixing device (4), which has a venturi-like mixing chamber (7). Extending into the inlet opening of the mixing chamber (7) is a nozzle (8), which is connected to the air conduit (2). Defined between the nozzle (8) and the edge (9) of the inlet opening of the mixing chamber (7) is an annular gap (10), which is connected to the gas conduit (1). Also operating in the air conduit (2) is a conical member (11) which is actuated by a linear motor (12). The mixture is withdrawn from the mixing chamber (7) by a fan (5), whose speed is controllable, and fed to the combustion device. The adjusting motor (12) for the conical member (11) operates in dependence on a signal from a sensor, which detects changes in the gas quality, the air pressure and/or the combustion air temperature.
