Abstract: Provided is a hysteresis generating pedal apparatus. More specifically, the hysteresis generating pedal apparatus includes: a housing fixed to a vehicle; a pedal arm rotatably supported by the housing; and a friction member having an end supported by a spring and an other end in contact with a portion of the pedal arm and generating friction by contacting the housing when rotated by a driver's pedal effort received from the pedal arm. In particular, in a center of rotation of the friction member is different from a center of rotation of the pedal arm.
