Abstract: Swimming flipper comprising a fin blade made of rigid material and a shoe made of soft material similar to rubber, said fin blade and said shoe being interconnected by mechanical means of joining and locking, and an insole element which can be inserted inside the shoe itself. Said locking means extend from said insole to said fin blade or vice versa, through the part of the sole of the shoe interposed between said insole and the fin blade portion underneath.
Abstract: A regulator for an underwater breathing apparatus includes a box-shaped body enclosing the air flow-regulating device, a tube connected to the box-shaped body supporting a mouthpiece, an air inlet duct connected to the box-shaped body through an inlet valve operated by the regulating device, and a deflector element. The deflector is fitted so that it swings inside the regulator between a position in which the deflector partially shuts off the opening of the mouthpiece tube, in the inhalation phase, and another position in which the opening of the mouthpiece tube is at its maximum size, in the exhalation phase.
Abstract: Regulator for underwater breathing apparatus comprising a box-like body of plastic material, from which a tube provided with mouthpiece, and equiped with an outlet port branches out. The box-like body of said regulator is provided with one or more metallic inserts integrated in the walls of said body.
Abstract: Swim fin equipped with buckle to secure the heel strap to the open foot pocket swim fin, such swim fin being provided sidewise of the foot pocket with a pin provided with a head enlarged with respect to its stem, and said buckle being provided with an opening, said pin and said opening being coupled for the connection of the buckle to the swim fin; said pin is provided with a radial tooth which cooperates with an abutment element protruding from the perimeter of the buckle opening, such tooth being positioned on the pin in such a manner as to prevent the downward rotation past a certain degree of the buckle with respect to the pin.
Abstract: Diving mask comprising a body made of rubber or a material similar to rubber provided with a peripheral edge which extends parallel with the plane of an ocular opening or openings; at least one lens made from tempered glass or transparent plastic which is shaped to match the shape of the ocular opening or openings respectively; and a main frame provided with several spaced apart attachment teeth which hold the said lens on lenses respectively in place, pressing them elastically and leaktightly against the said peripheral edge of the body. A variously shaped and decorated outer frame may be fitted over this main frame.
Abstract: Swimmimg fin of the type having an open shoe comprising a shoe portion (201) and a blade portion (101), in which the top surface (211) of the sole of said shoe portion (201) comprises two or more longitudinal ribs (121) projecting into the interior of the shoe portion (201).
Abstract: Fin with buckle for securing the heel strap to the open-shoe type fin, in which said buckle comprises: a base piece on the side of the fin next to the socket for the foot; an intermediate lever hinged at one end in said base piece; and an end piece bearing at one end the means for connection to said strap, while its other end is hinged at a point on said intermediate lever between the end hinged to the base piece and the free end.
Abstract: Device for the rapid attachment and release of aqualung cylinders to and from a back structure comprising: a rigid support which is connected to the cylinders by means of belts and is provided at one end with a blocking recess, and a back structure which can be connected to the stabilizer jacket and is fitted with a transverse bar which couples with the recess in the rigid support. This back structure is provided near the end opposite the transverse bar with a pin which may be coupled to a mating hole disposed near the end opposite the recess. A spring clamp cooperates with said hole so as to disengageably lock said pin whenever inserted in the said hole.
Abstract: A safety catch in particular for underwater guns or the like, comprises movable means for locking the travel of a trigger for activation of means of firing a projectile element. In oder to avoid direct, visual checking of the condition of the safety catch, according to the invention the safety catch is provided with means for indicating the condition of activation thereof, which in the position of locking the travel of the trigger are disposed such that they can be felt directly by the hand or finger which controls activation of the trigger, in the normal position For grasping the grip of the gun and/or the trigger.
Abstract: This invention relates to an underwater mask which has on the front two plates made of a transparent material for front vision, and two further transparent plates placed beneath the former and forming an angle greater than 90.degree. and less than 180.degree. therewith. The second pair of clear plates afford peripheral vision down the diver's pectoral region.
