    Abstract: A battery module includes a module housing, a safety compartment, electrical assemblies, and explosion-proof structures. The safety compartment, the explosion-proof structures, and at least a part of the electrical assemblies are located outside the module housing and are located on a same side of the module housing. The explosion-proof structure includes a connection end and a pressure relief end that are disposed opposite to each other. The pressure relief end is located in the safety compartment. The pressure relief end of the explosion-proof structure is located in the safety compartment, so that a high-temperature combustible fluid from the pressure relief end flows into the safety compartment, to prevent the high-temperature combustible fluid from flowing to another position of the module housing to burn the electrical assembly. The pressure relief end of the explosion-proof structure is separated from the electrical assembly by using the safety compartment, to avoid a secondary safety accident.
