Abstract: A method of sending reset message sequence number is provided. During a connected state handoff of an access terminal (AT) between a source access network (AN) and a target AN, the source AN sends a reset message sequence number of the AT to the target AN. The source AN adds the reset message sequence number of the AT to the message sent to the target AN. Thereby, the problem in the existing systems that the source AN cannot send the reset message sequence number of the AT to the target AN and, thus, the target AN cannot perform a reset process on the AT when the AT is switched from the source AN to the target AN, is solved. An access network (AN) and a communication system are also provided.

Abstract: A method for transporting/receiving notification messages via File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) includes: At the transmitting end, a server carries a notification content in a transport object and carries notification related information and a transport object identifier (TOI) of the transport object carrying the notification content in a first file description table (FDT), and then sends the first FDT and the transport object carrying the notification content in a FLUTE session; the receiving end obtains the notification related information and the TOI of the transport object carrying the notification content from the first FDT, and receives the transport object carrying the notification content according to the obtained related information and the TOI. A server for transporting notification messages via FLUTE, a FLUTE server, a content server and a terminal are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method, a node device, and a communication system for device pool management are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining autonomous loop configuration data which describes relations between a node device and its ancestor node device and between the node device and its descendant node device in an autonomous loop by using identifiers of node devices in the autonomous loop; and setting up a backup relation between a node device and an ancestor node device as well as a backup relation between the node device and a descendant node device according to the autonomous loop configuration data, receiving and storing backup data sent by the ancestor node device, and sending data of the node device to be backed up to the descendant node device. Therefore, the service continuity is ensured when some of the node devices disengage from the autonomous loop.

Abstract: A method, device and system for implementing a long reach passive optical network (LR-PON) are provided, which solve the problem that the cost for establishing an LR-PON system is high. The method includes: receiving an uplink burst packet transmitted by an optical network unit (ONU) in a burst manner (101) , converting a burst optical signal of the uplink burst packet into a continuous optical signal, and transmitting the continuous optical signal to a receiving device (105). The present invention is applicable to an LR-PON.

Abstract: A method for obtaining link aggregation group (LAG) information, and a node and a system thereof are provided, which belong to the field of communication technologies. The method includes the following steps. An ingress node of a label switched path (LSP) sends an echo request message to another node on the LSP, in which the message carries identification information, and the identification information is for identifying that the LAG information on the LSP needs to be obtained. The ingress node receives an echo reply message returned by said another node, in which the message carries LAG information between said another node and a next hop node on the LSP. The present invention implements the obtaining of LAG information on the LSP and brings great convenience to OAM of MPLS network, and has the advantages of being simple, convenient, and easy to implement and having strong practicality.

Abstract: The method includes: splitting an optical carrier into two or more sets of optical sub-carriers at a receiving end; respectively performing optical PDM on each set of the optical sub-carriers to obtain two sets of to-be-demodulated optical signals; and extracting a part of signals from each set of the to-be-demodulated signals to calculate features characterizing polarization states, controlling feedback signals according to the features, and correspondingly adjusting a polarization state of each set of the optical sub-carriers. With the device combining optical division into two or more sets of sub-carriers with optical PDM, an optical carrier signal can be split in an optical modulation format into four or more sets of signals for processing, and delay interference can be performed directly on an optical wave by using Differential Quadrature Phase Shifted Keying (DQPSK) demodulators to obtain by detection output signals.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a device for rapidly exiting training are provided. The method includes: in a training procedure of a Vectored-Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) filter, comparing a feedback error value of the filter and/or a swing range of a filter coefficient with a preset threshold, and determining whether the filter meets a convergence condition according to a comparison result; and exiting the training procedure of the filter when the filter meets the convergence condition. The method, system, and device are applicable to a training procedure of a Vectored-DSL precoder or canceller, so as to rapidly exit the training procedure.

Abstract: A method for expanding a cluster system is provided. The cluster system includes at least one Cluster Central Chassis (CCC), and a newly-added Cluster Line-card Chassis (CLC) connected with the CCC to form the cluster system. The method includes the following steps. A control plane is established. An equipment management right is switched to the CCC, so that the CCC manages the newly-added CLC. Meanwhile, a cluster line-card device, a cluster central exchange device, and a cluster system are further provided. In implementation, smooth expansion can be achieved without interrupting running equipment services in the CLC current network and without interrupting data services. Moreover, during the expansion process, hardware equipment needs not to be replaced, thus investment of users on the equipment is reduced.

Abstract: A content distribution network (CDN) system is disclosed, where the system includes a content distribution device and at least one media server. Storage media with different characteristics are mounted on the media server or storage media with different characteristics are mounted on media servers. The content distribution device is configured to select a storage medium for content according to a mapping relationship between the attributes of the content and the characteristics of the storage medium, and distribute the content to the storage medium through the media server on which the storage medium is mounted. A content distribution method and a content distribution device are also provided. Because the content of different types is distributed to storage media with different characteristics, the cost of the storage medium in the CDN system is reduced, and the storage utilization ratio is increased.

The paging processing method includes: receiving a paging request message from a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) which a called User Equipment (UE) registers to; and when the called UE is connected, sending a paging notification message to the called UE, and returning a called-UE paging status message to the MSC. In the embodiments of the present invention, after the Mobility Management Entity (MME) receives the paging request message from the MSC, if the called UE is connected, the MME not only sends a Circuit-Switched (CS) paging notification message to the called UE, but also returns a paging status message to the MSC, indicating that the called UE has received the paging notification message.

Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for preventing the counterfeiting of a network-side Media Access Control (MAC) address. Abstract: A method and a network apparatus for adjusting communication resources in a community are disclosed. When the topological structure of the community changes, e.g., when new base station joins or exits, and when the community combines or splits, each base station re-allocates the communication resources by using a uniform algorithm, or the server or one base station in the community re-allocates the communication resources uniformly, then the base stations in the community are adjusted to the their own available resource at the same time based on the re-allocation results. The communication resources includes not only the frequency spectrum, but also those are exclusively occupied by a base station required by its normal operation, e.g., time slot, CDMA code word, sub-channel etc. With the present disclosure, the automatic optimum allocation and adjustment of the communication resources in a community could be realized.

Abstract: A method for measuring network performance is disclosed to solve the problem in active network performance measurement that a measurement point on receiving a packet is unable to determine the source of the packet after the network address translation (NAT). The method includes that a first measurement point constructs a probe packet containing address information about the first measurement point in a data field thereof based on a measurement instruction and sends the probe packet to a second measurement point via a NAT device for translating the network address, and the second measurement point receives the probe packet and determines the source of the packet according to the address information in the packet; and finally calculates network performance metrics, according to related information in the probe packet. A network system is also disclosed.

Abstract: The embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for establishing a multicast LSP and a system for transmitting multicast data. The method includes: a MSA node learns and stores multicast stream information; the egress edge node in the MPLS domain obtains the multicast stream information sent by the MSA node by sending a query request message to the MSA node; the egress edge node joins the multicast group, according to the obtained multicast stream information, and establishes a multicast LSP between the ingress edge node and the egress edge node. The technical solution of the present invention supports dynamic implementation of multicast services, and reduces the cost of maintaining a network topology.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for providing location information. When a call is initiated, the call is connected to the ring back tone device when there is a subscription record of ring back tone location service corresponding to a user of the call; the ring back tone device acquires the location information of the terminal of the called party from the location service platform and sends the location information to the terminal of the calling party. The embodiments of the present invention provide great convenience to users. Further, the location service and the customized ring back tone service are enriched greatly and thus the service experience of users is enhanced, since location information may be sent by the ring back tone device to the terminal of calling party in forms, such as characters, voices and multimedia.

Abstract: A method for improving line stability, an adjusting apparatus and a system are provided. The method includes determining an Operating Performance Value (OPV) on a current Digital Subscriber Line (DSL); and if the OPV is below a preset Target Performance Value (TPV), adjusting Management Information Base (MIB) parameters in a line template. The apparatus includes a determining unit and an adjusting unit. With the provided method, apparatus, and system, the error correction capability of the DSL line can be updated with the actual bit error ratio to adapt to a complex environment and to improve the line stability.

The method includes: parsing received notification information that includes uniformly sorted alarm/event information; and obtaining the uniformly sorted alarm/event information. The method and apparatus implement data interworking, reduce XML tags, and improve the efficiency of transmitting data on the network.

Abstract: The embodiment of the present invention provides a method for establishing a route, which includes searching a target node by a node from a first level node group according to first level route information, returning to query a result or data saved by the target node if the target node is found, otherwise executing the following step; searching a target node by the node from a higher level node group according to higher level route information, returning to query a result or the data saved by the target node if the target node is found, otherwise repeating the step. Through the hierarchical communication system, most of the flows of daily service operations in the communication network are limited within a small region, thereby preventing from excessively occupying the band width of a backbone network being originally not wide enough.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for identifying an Internet Protocol (IP) session are provided. The method includes: a network gateway generates an IP session identity (ID) for an IP session during an IP address configuration process for a user equipment (UE), according to preset rules for generating the IP session ID; and filters a received IP session packet from the UE according to the IP session ID. By applying the technical solutions, a coupling relation between a data communication process and an authentication process or an IP address configuration process of the IP session is established, and the security of the IP session is enhanced.
