Abstract: A method for controlling individualized information including: receiving a call request sent from a calling terminal requesting to initiate a call to a called terminal; determining whether the called terminal is idle, and if the called terminal is idle, connecting the call to the called terminal and sending a ring back tone of the called terminal to the calling terminal; and shielding the ring back tone and playing individualized information preset in the calling terminal when receiving the ring back tone.

Abstract: A method for an Access Terminal (AT) in a 1x network to establish an High Rate Packet Data (HRPD) network packet data service includes: initiating, by the AT, a session establishment request to a target Access Network/Packet Control Function (AN/PCF) of an HRPD network; establishing, by the target AN/PCF, an HRPD session with the AT after obtaining session information of an existing HRPD session; performing, by the target AN/PCF and the AT, session configuration based on the obtained session information, and establishing a data connection for the packet data service. In the present invention, an AT in the 1x network can establish a packet data service with an HRPD network when there is an existing packet data session in the HRPD network. The present invention is advantageous for seamless service handoff between the 1x network and the HRPD network, thereby realizing complement of the two networks and improving user experience.

Abstract: A buffer management method based on a bitmap table includes: dividing the bitmap table into a plurality of areas each containing at least one bit; determining and recording an idleness status of each of the areas in accordance with an unoccupied status of the bit in the area; and performing a management on a buffer address pointer in accordance with the recorded idleness status of each of the areas. The entire inventive procedure of allocating a buffer address pointer is fixed and easily controllable, and the RAM consumed for management on each buffer element including at least a 1-bit buffer space is approximately 1 bit, with a relatively fewer resources being consumed. The invention can enable that it takes two clock cycles on average to complete one procedure of allocating a buffer address pointer, and thus the efficiency in allocating and reclaiming a buffer address pointer is high, and the controllability during buffer management is improved.

Abstract: A method for detecting an emergency service, applicable for a system including a UE, an Access Control Function (ACF) and a Routing Control Function (RCF) includes: determining, by an ACF, whether a call is an emergency call after receiving a call signaling from a UE; if the call is an emergency call, notifying, by the ACF, the RCF that the call is an emergency call. Embodiments of the invention further disclose a system and an ACF. The solution provided by embodiments of the invention makes it possible to detect the emergency service for scenarios involving different kinds of terminals.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a method for processing session, which includes: obtaining a session request for requesting a session between a calling user and a called user, wherein the session request contains first charging information and is from a first communication unit; obtaining second charging information from a second communication unit; generating a result according to the first charging information and the second charging information; processing the session according to the result. The embodiments of the present invention also provide a device for processing session. In the embodiments of the present invention, a user may conveniently control a rate, duration and fee of a session.

Abstract: A method for realizing charging includes setting up mapping relation between service attribute and charging rule, acquiring service attribute of the to-be-charged service when it is demanded to charge the to-be-charged service, acquiring charging rule of the to-be-charged service according to service attribute of the to-be-charged service, and charging the to-be-charged service according to the acquired charging rule. Also disclosed is a charging system having an acquiring charging rule module and charging processing module. When it is demanded to develop new services or modify charging rules of original services, it can be fulfilled by modifying the service information provided for charging processing module accordingly, thus charging requirements of various services can be satisfied. Charging processing module of charging system is independent of services, so that cost of charging system is reduced, and stability, reliability and versatility of charging system are improved.

Abstract: A method of communicating for a communication apparatus, which includes: a terminal apparatus transmitting the information frames to a central office apparatus; the central office apparatus receiving the information frames and obtaining the terminal apparatus information from the information frames; the central office apparatus processing the information frames transmitted from the terminal apparatus, using the terminal apparatus information obtained from the information frames; whereby communication between the central office apparatus and the terminals of different vendors is implemented.

Abstract: A method of digital image combination for multiple channels with multiple sets and a bus interface which includes an image-processing unit for m-channel sub-images, an image-processing unit for n-set combining images, n-set video data buses, address and control buses and a pixel data access control and bus switching logic module. A bus strobe signal controls m-channel sub-images pixel data outputting to one set of the n video data buses at a specific moment. The n sets of image-processing units for combining images combine the sub-images pixel data on the video data buses of n sets to form n integral image data. The method can be used in the multimedia image communication system and image editing system for raising the multiple image-processing capabilities.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for implementing multimedia ring back tone service, which includes a communication network, an MRBT platform storing multimedia ring back tones in the communication network and a VIG. The MRBT platform is respectively connected to the Service Switch Center dominating the terminal and an MGW in the communication network through the VIG; when a calling terminal initiates a call through the Service Switch Center, the VIG establishes a communication link from the terminal to the MRBT platform through the MGW and the VIG before the call is put through; and MRBT platform plays multimedia ring back tones for the calling terminal via the established communication link. The present invention also provides a method for implementing multimedia ring back tone service. The system and the method provided in the present invention can implement multimedia ring back tone service in 3G communication networks.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and a system for transparent transport of optical channel transmission unit (OTU) signals via an optical transport network (OTN), which includes a transmitting unit and a receiving unit at the OTN network boundary: the transmitting unit converts an OTUj signal mapping entering the OTN network into OTUk signals of the current OTN network for transmission. In the mean time, it reserves the OTUj control overhead, or extracts the OTUj control overhead and transfers it to the reserved overhead location; the receiving unit receives the OTUk signals arriving at the OTN network boundary, and performs demapping and converting them into OTUj signals.

Abstract: A method for collecting user data includes: collecting content of a user action event; modifying a user interest data model which stores user interest data according to the content of the user action event collected. In this way, the interest and concerns of the user are effectively tracked. Furthermore, the method and system provided by embodiments of the invention features little disturbance to user and accurate collection of user information, thus effectively shows the interest of user. Through method and system provided by embodiments of the invention, the user data can be collected effectively and the interest of the user is well represented.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling handoff by a network infrastructure, which includes collecting channel information and transmitting the channel information to a Mobile Terminal (MT) and a method for controlling handoff by a MT, which includes receiving channel information collected by a network infrastructure and making a handoff decision according to the channel information. The present invention also discloses apparatuses for controlling handoff. Applying the present invention, the handoff decision will be made based on both the information collected by the network infrastructure and the information collected by the MT, therefore blind handoff is reduced, the network workloads are balanced and the QoS is assured before and after the handoff.

Abstract: A system and a method for monitoring a Video Phone (VP) service monitors a video communication between a calling video terminal and a called video terminal, and the system including a Mobile Switching Centre (MSC) server, a Media GateWay (MGW), a Video Inter-working Gateway (VIG), and a monitoring receiving unit. When the calling video terminal initiates a VP call to the called video terminal, the MSC server instructs the MGW to duplicate the call data of the calling and called video terminal, transmits the call data to the VIG, and instructs the VIG to de-multiplexes the call data of calling video terminal and called video terminal into the audio flow and video flow. The VIG transmits the audio flow and video flow to the monitoring receiving unit for playing.

Abstract: The invention discloses a signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) measurement method. The method measures interference power (I) of a single-path signal after the received signal is demodulated by the single-path demodulators of multipath receiving device at the receiving end. The total interference power is obtained by equipartition combining with the measured interference power of each single-path signal. The signal power (S) is obtained by measuring after maximum ratio combination of each single-path signal. The SIR of the received signal is the division of the signal power and the total interference power. An apparatus, implementing mentioned method, sets the interference power measurement-device in the RAKE combiner and the signal power measurement-device after the RAKE combiner. In this way, the interference measurement can effectively provide more information and can more really response to the channel variation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for processing the service connection between a user terminal and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applicable to a WLAN interactive network that at least comprises: a WLAN user terminal, a WLAN access unit, a service control unit and a user information storage unit. The method comprises: setting flags that represent the attached or detached status of the service connection between the user terminal and the WLAN in the WLAN user terminal and the service control unit respectively; establishing or canceling the connection between the user terminal and the network through the interaction between the WLAN user terminal and the WLAN, meanwhile modifying the corresponding flags.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention discloses a mobile online game system which includes a first mobile game terminal, a second mobile game terminal and a game platform, and the first mobile game terminal acquires a P2P communication address of the second mobile game terminal from the game platform, creates a P2P connection with the second mobile game terminal, and communicates with the second mobile game terminal via the P2P connection. An embodiment of the present invention discloses as well a method for communicating between mobile game terminals. Because of the adoption of a P2P connection between the mobile game terminals for communicating, the forwarding of data interaction between the mobile game terminals by the game platform in the related art is avoided, so that the rate and efficiency of data interaction between the mobile game terminals are improved, and the data processing burden on the game platform is released.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method and a system for switching an OTN signal using the SDH. The system includes a system clock unit for providing a system clock signal and a frame header indication signal, a cross-connection unit for performing signal cross-connection at a uniform level of synchronous transfer mode rate, and an OTN signal interface processing unit for mapping, based on the system clock signal and frame header indication signal provided by the system clock unit, an OTN signal received from the circuit side into a synchronous transfer mode bus to be sent to the cross-connection unit, and de-mapping a signal output by the cross-connection unit through the synchronous transfer mode bus to an OTN signal to be output to the circuit side. An OTN signal may be switched in the SDH and the service interworking between an SDH network and an OTN may be achieved.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for the master to configure the slaves for use in a passive optical network (PON) system, comprising: the slaves generating a managed entity (ME) Support List ME based on their individual hardware configuration; the master obtaining the ME Support List ME; and the master configuring the slaves based on this list. The technical solution of the present disclosure allows speeding up of the optical network terminal (ONT) service clearance time by quickly identifying incompatibility of the optical line terminal (OLT) with the ONTs.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for acquiring automatic exposure control parameters and a method for controlling automatic exposure control parameters and an imaging device. The core idea is to take the brightness weighted average value obtained according to brightness distribution weighted statistics of the image as the exposure control parameter. Then through adjusting the weighted coefficient of pixels in different brightness regions, control the influence of the pixel concentrated brightness regions on the brightness average value. Because the brightness distribution is the basis for determining weighted statistics, the control method of the present invention is not influenced by the scene assumption. Rather it can be universally adapted to a variety of different scenes, and the exposure control effect is not influenced by the position of scenes in the actual bright region/dark region and block distribution.
