Abstract: An intra prediction method by using cross component liner prediction mode (CCLM), includes: determining a luma block corresponding to a current chroma block; obtaining luma reference samples of the luma block based on determining L available chroma reference samples of the current chroma block, wherein the obtained luma reference samples of the luma block are down-sampled luma reference samples; calculating linear model coefficients based on the luma reference samples and chroma reference samples that correspond to the luma reference samples; and obtaining a prediction for the current chroma block based on the linear model coefficients and values of a down-sampled luma block of the luma block.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes example service takeover methods, storage devices, and service takeover apparatuses. In one example method, when a communication fault occurs between two storage devices in a storage system, the two storage devices respectively obtain running statuses of the two storage devices. A running status can reflect current usage of one or more system resources of a particular storage device. Then, a delay duration is determined according to the running statuses, where the delay duration is a duration for which the storage device waits before sending an arbitration request to a quorum server. The two storage devices respectively send, after the delay duration, arbitration requests to the quorum server to request to take over a service. The quorum server then can select a storage device in a relatively better running status to take over a host service.

Abstract: An uplink signal transmission method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, first information that is sent by a network device and that is used to instruct the terminal device to send an SRS on at least two symbols in a first slot, and second information that is sent by the network device and that is used to instruct the terminal device not to send the SRS on M symbols in the at least two symbols, where M is an integer greater than 0; and sending, by the terminal device based on the received first information and the received second information, the SRS on a symbol that is in the at least two symbols and that is different from the M symbols.

Abstract: A device comprising an image processor apparatus, the image processor apparatus being configured for implementing an image based computational model as part of an end-to-end processing pipeline. The device is configured to operate by receiving colour-specific image data representing a scene, receiving depth data of the scene, processing the colour-specific image data using the image based computational model to form a feature map of the scene, and forming in dependence on the feature map and the depth data an illumination map representing an estimation of the illumination on a set of three-dimensional locations in the scene.

Abstract: This application discloses a network interface card so as to improve reliability of a storage apparatus using an RDMA network and improve storage access performance of a single QP connection. A network interface card includes a parser and at least one shared connector, where the parser is configured to distribute a received first remote direct memory access RDMA packet to a first shared connector in the at least one shared connector; and the first shared connector is configured to establish a QP connection to a peer network device, and determine a first queue pair QP corresponding to a first controller based on the first RDMA packet, so as to implement communication with the first controller, where the first shared connector is separately connected to a plurality of controllers including the first controller, and one QP corresponding to each of the plurality of controllers corresponds to the first shared connector.

Abstract: This disclosure provides an encryption/decryption system, an optical module, and a related apparatus and system, and belongs to the field of network communications technologies. The encryption/decryption system includes an encryption/decryption component, a first interface component, and a second interface component. The encryption/decryption component is configured to encrypt a first physical layer data stream from the first interface component and transmit the encrypted first physical layer data stream to the second interface component, and is configured to decrypt a second physical layer data stream from the second interface component and transmit the decrypted second physical layer data stream to the first interface component. According to this disclosure, a delay caused by encryption/decryption during data transmission can be reduced.

A first network device sends a first packet to a second network device in a UDP manner, where the first packet is used to establish a BGP peer with the second network device; and if the first network device can receive a second packet sent by the second network device in the UDP manner, the first network device establishes a BGP peer relationship with the second network device in response to the received second packet.

Abstract: A media access control (MAC) address allocation method and device are disclosed. The method includes: a wireless access point device sending a notification message on a wireless medium. The notification message includes at least one candidate virtual MAC address. The wireless access point device receiving, on the wireless medium, a request message from a terminal device. A source address of the request message is a first virtual MAC address. The first virtual MAC address is one of the at least one candidate virtual MAC address.

The screen sharing system may include a first electronic device, a second electronic device, a third electronic device, and a fourth electronic device. In the method, the first electronic device may establish a video communication connection to the second electronic device. The method includes: a non-access point multi-link device (non-AP MLD) generates a probe request frame, and sends the probe request frame to an access point multi-link device (AP MLD), and the AP MLD receives the probe request frame, and generates a probe response frame and sends to the non-AP MLD. The probe request frame includes a first multi-link element (MLE) that is used to request link information of the AP MLD and that includes a first link information field. Abstract: This disclosure discloses a beam switching method and an apparatus. A terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates a first beam. Then, the terminal device performs one or more of the following behaviors based on the first beam: measuring downlink time-frequency offset information and path loss information corresponding to the first beam, sending, based on the first beam, a signal for uplink timing measurement, and receiving uplink timing adjustment information from the network device, where the timing adjustment information is determined based on the first beam. Further, the terminal device receives second indication information from the network device, where the second indication information indicates to switch to the first beam. Abstract: There is provided a method for providing a sensing initiator station with measurement feedback. The method includes broadcasting, by the sensing initiator station, a sensing announcement frame and broadcasting, by the sensing initiator station, a sensing sequence frame, the sensing sequence frame containing a reference sequence. The method further includes transmitting, by the sensing initiator station, a feedback request frame, the feedback request frame including station information indicating resources allocated for each participating station. The method further includes sending, by a responder station, a feedback frame to the sensing initiator, the feedback frame including an indicator corresponding to data contained in the feedback frame. There is also provided a device which includes a processor, and non-transitory computer readable memory having stored thereon machine readable instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor configure the device to execute a method disclosed herein.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to technology for acceleration of GPUs in cloud. Instructions for a computational task are accessed. An allocation of data and instructions is calculated based on the data, the instructions, and dynamic GPU resources. The data and the instructions are provided to the GPUs in accordance with the allocation, which includes scheduling a set of instructions for parallel computation of an operation of the computational task on multiple sub-matrices of a data matrix. Separate portions of information are stored into corresponding different regions of non-transitory memory of a processor core to provide concurrent access to the multiple sub-matrices to the processor core. Each sub-matrix corresponds to a portion of the data matrix for which an operation of the computational task is to be performed. Each sub-matrix contains an element in the data matrix in common with another sub-matrix of the data matrix.

The method includes processing an intermediate representation (IR) of the software program and determining one or more function call candidates capable of fusion based on the processed IR. The method further includes determining similarities between the function call candidates and generating a merged function of the function call candidates based on the determined similarities. The method further includes generating at least one interleaved version of the merged function and determining an optimized function version from among the merged function and the at least one interleaved version. The method further includes generating a fused function based on the determined optimized function version.

The method includes a decision process which includes: determining a first chroma quantization parameter for the first chroma block based on a first luma quantization parameter of a first luma block of the first image block and a chroma QP mapping table for the first chroma block; determining a second chroma quantization parameter for the second chroma block based on a second luma quantization parameter of a second luma block of the second image block and a chroma QP mapping table for the second chroma block; determining an averaged and rounded chroma quantization parameter based on the first chroma quantization parameter and the second chroma quantization parameter; and determining a threshold parameter based on the averaged and rounded chroma quantization parameter.
