Abstract: A tool for stripping a cable is provided that includes a first housing section having a first blade, a second housing section having a second blade, and a first beam secured to the housing sections. The housing sections are movable between a load/unload position and a strip position. The blades, when in the load/unload position, are spaced from one another by a distance that is larger than an outer diameter of the cable. The blades, when in the strip position, are spaced from one another by a first dimension (D1) that is substantially equal to an outer diameter of a conductor of the cable. The first beam is positioned with respect to the blades to define a travel limiter to the cable such that an end of the cable in contact with a surface of the first beam is a predefined first length (L1) from the first and second blades.

Abstract: A rollable ribbon separator tool for separating fibers in a rollable ribbon, the rollable ribbon separator including a chassis having a length and a guide surface along the chassis length for receiving a first portion of a rollable ribbon in a flattened position, the guide surface for positioning the first portion of the rollable ribbon having a first node with selected fibers to be separated, the selected fibers being positioned flat on the guide surface. The rollable ribbon separator includes a blade securable to the chassis, the blade having a cutting edge positioned toward the guide surface at an acute angle to the guide surface. The angle of the blade cutting edge with respect to the guide surface allows the cutting edge to urge the first portion of the flattened ribbon fibers against the guide surface when the fibers are drawn through the chassis along the guide surface.

Abstract: Soil displacement piles having a shaft and one or more soil displacement assemblies secured to the shaft are provided. If more than one soil displacement assembly is utilized, each soil displacement assembly is separated by a longitudinal distance. Each soil displacement assembly has an upper helical plate, a lower helical plate and separated from the upper helical plate by a longitudinal plate distance, and at least one soil displacement plate positioned relative to the shaft, the upper helical plate and the lower helical plate.
