Abstract: A cutter for electrode graphite which has a shank at one end and a tool tip at the other end, and flutes extending from the shank to the tool tip, which space machining lands apart from each other in the circumferential direction. The tool tip is formed as a ball head section, in which the machining lands have a rounded contour, extending along a ball head radius. At least one of the machining lands is a rough-machining land and at least one other of the machining lands is a fine-machining land. Each machining land has a circumferential working area with a cylindrical surface-segment-shaped shell surface, the working area of each rough-machining land is a circumferential file with teeth which are worked into the shell surface of the working area, and the working area of each fine-machining land exterior grooves extends with a twist about the tool axis.
Abstract: The invention concerns a machining tool for machining fiber-reinforced materials such as CFRP, glass-fiber-reinforced plastics or plastics reinforced with polyester threads. The machining tool comprises a plurality of flutes (1, 2, 3, 4) which distance lands (5, 6, 7, 8), disposed about a cylinder core segment (9), from each other in the peripheral sense. At least one of the lands (6, 8) is designed as a premachining land (6, 8) and at least one other of the lands (5, 7) is designed as a postmachining land (5, 7), each comprising a peripheral working region extending along, or with a twist and in the form of a helical segment about, the tool axis.
Abstract: A face cutter for machining fiber-reinforced materials such as carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics, glass-fiber-reinforced plastics or plastics reinforced with polyester threads is provided which includes main flutes which form with trailing premachining lands cutting wedges with premachining cutting edges, and auxiliary flutes, the number of which corresponds to a number of the main flutes, each trail one of the main flutes in the peripheral sense, each distance in the peripheral sense a postmachining land from the premachining land leading in the peripheral sense, and form with the postmachining land a cutting wedge with a postmachining cutting edge.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dental milling tool for machining pre-sintered ceramic white bodies on multi-axis CNC machines, comprising a ball head portion (1) which is rounded in a semispherical manner and which, at its largest outer diameter (Dk), approximately 1-4 mm, transitions into an axial cutting portion (2) that runs in the axial direction with said diameter (Dk) at the outer circumference in a constant manner, said axial cutting portion being adjoined by a shaft portion (3) which extends axially with a larger or at least equally large shaft diameter (Ds). Three, preferably two flutes (4) and a corresponding number of cutting wedges (5) extend in a spiral manner around a core portion (9), which consists of a solid material and which has a circular cross section, from the ball head portion (1) along the axial cutting portion (2).
