    Abstract: The present invention provides devices and methods for dispensing fluids. By controlling the relationship between valve bodies and elastomeric sheaths that enclose them, one may reduce or eliminate backflow, thereby protecting the integrity of the fluid to be dispensed. Thus, the elastomeric sheath and valve body of the present invention may be used to form a one-way valve for dispensing fluid from a collapsible container.
