Abstract: A decoy apparatus for use in a water environment comprising a motor operatively connected to a splasher to cause a water effect when in operation, said motor and splasher being connected to a pole member such that the motor is located above the surface of a body of water and said splasher is capable of contacting said water when in operation. In one or more embodiments, the decoy apparatus may further comprise a decoy body substantially in the shape of an avian animal.

A system of two or more intermittent flashing decoys wherein each decoy is controlled by an intermittent timer chip, the cycler, so that no pattern of flashing occurs between any two decoys.

Abstract: A reconfigurable hen turkey decoy is disclosed comprising: a housing, where the housing includes plastic, where the housing has an outer surface, an inner surface, an interior space, and at least one opening, and where at least a portion of the outer surface resembles a hen turkey; a guide member, where the guide member includes an elastic material, where the guide member has an opening, and where the guide member is at least partially disposed over the opening of the at least one opening of the housing; and a support member, where the support member has a length and a radius, where the support member is removably positioned in the opening of the guide member, where the length of the support member and the length of the housing forms an angle, and where the support member and the housing can be releasably secured into at least two different angles.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a decoy apparatus comprising: a motor unit securely connected to a base, at least one wing member operatively connected to the motor so as to be rotated by the motor when the motor is engaged, a power source to operate the motor, and a shell that mimics the look of an avian animal that can be incorporated with the motor so as to cause the rotating wing members to appear as if they were the wings of the avian animal. In alternate embodiments, the motor is encased in a motor housing that defines a structure and the shell is a soft body in the shape of a bird with a cavity that is substantially to the size and shape of at least the top of the motor housing such that at least a portion of the motor housing is capable of being inserted into the decoy body, filling a portion of the cavity. In one or more embodiments, the wings are configured to spin at a rate of at least 300 rpm.

Abstract: An at least partially buoyant decoy apparatus for use in the water is provided that mimics the look of a diving or feeding animal. The decoy comprises in various embodiments an exterior shaped at least partially in the shape of an animal, a propeller, a power source, and a motor, wherein the propeller and a power source are operationally coupled to a motor such that the powered motor is capable of acting on the propeller to create a downward thrust relative to the water line of the body of water in which the decoy resides to make the decoy apparatus move dip or dive into the water for a period of time, to be released back to the surface when the motor ceases to act on the propeller.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a decoy apparatus comprising: a body (or structure) shaped to resemble at least a portion of an animal resting on water and a weighted member operationally attached to a motor such that the weight can be redistributed so cause the decoy apparatus to move to a feeding position in which a portion of the decoy body, preferable the head portion, is tipped under the waterline and the opposing portion is raised in the air.

Abstract: A seating system for blind use that is quiet and allows movement and turning with little effort. The blind seating system comprises a seat assembly, support frame, and adjustable tether arm. The seat height may be adjustable to accommodate persons of different sizes. It also accommodates multiple persons and allows each to adjust their position relative to the blind floor plan and each other, which is particularly useful when helping others to hunt, observe, photograph, or film.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a decoy apparatus comprising: a body (or structure) shaped to resemble at least a portion of an animal and at least a partially iridescent paint, wherein at least a portion of said body is painted such that a paint scheme is applied to said body which mimics the look and colors of the avian animal as found in nature, and where the paint is capable of emitting different colors when light reflects upon the paint. In one or more embodiments, pearl flakes are added to a clear finish coat of paint to allow for the color shift.

Abstract: A decoy with selectively deployable keel for positioning at or near the surface of a body of water comprising: an at least partially buoyant structure wherein the at least partially buoyant structure at least partially resembles the shape of an animal, and at least one selectively deployable keel component which is attachable to said at least partially buoyant structure. In one or more embodiments, the at least partially buoyant structure comprises a waterfowl decoy body with a head and neck region, a midsection, an aft, and a bottom surface with a cavity, and the at least one selectively deployable keel component is attached to the bottom surface so as to be deployable when the added stability of a keel component is desired and retractable when not desired, such as for storage.

Abstract: A floating decoy system is provided for agitating the surface of a water body on which the device is deployed in a manner that is attractive to live game animals (e.g. live waterfowl). The system includes a frame, which is disposed partially above and partially below the surface of the water and suspended from a plurality of floating means. The device also includes an agitator assembly, which is slidably mounted to the frame above the surface of the water and produces ripples on the water surface and the sound of splashing water. The ripples and sound of splashing water are intended to simulate an active area where wild game are swimming, feeding, and interacting. Additionally, an airborne decoy may be mounted atop the frame to give the device added attractiveness to wild game. An alternative embodiment requires the removal of floating means and the anchoring of the frame to the bottom of the water body.

Abstract: An improved motorized decoy is provided for attracting and holding the attention of a live game animal by simulating the appearance, movements, sounds, and smells of a live game animal or an animal that is native to the habitat of a selected game animal. The decoy includes a decoy body that may be bifurcated into a forward portion and a rear portion, one or more motors, and an optional support member. Together, the motors may produce, either individually or in combination, the following movements: (1) movement of the entire decoy body relative to a fixed ground position, (2) movement of the head and neck portion of the decoy body relative to the rear portion of the decoy body, (3) movement of the ears relative to the head and neck portion, (4) movement of the tail relative to the rear portion, and (5) movement of one or more legs relative to the rear portion. All of the above movements may be produced randomly and/or intermittently by virtue of a programmable modulator or a multi-cycle remote control.

Abstract: A cable-driven animated bird replica comprises a decoy housing 12 having the overall configuration of a bird's body, the decoy having a pair of bird wing members 14 extending laterally of the housing and rotating on a common axis, a flexible cable 16 having a first end 122 attached to the housing and in operative communication with the bird wing members, and a second end 124 rotatably attached to a foot pedal 18 such that hands-free rotation of the bird wing members can be controlled from a location remote from the housing without the use of electric power.
