Abstract: The invention relates to damped elastic supports, comprising essentially, between two bases fixable to assemblies to be supported on one another, on the one hand a flexible wall defining one chamber designed to cooperate with another chamber and, on the other hand, at least one fluid-flow restricting orifice. This assembly is also completed outwardly by two elastic domes of elastomer combined with one mass. The assembly of this mass with another mass and with the damper device and the elastic membranes is calculated so as to permit a certain flexibility to be maintained, both for low frequencies and high frequencies. The invention is particularly applicable to automobile engine supports.

Abstract: Inner tubes for pneumatic tires including a toric cushion made from an elastomer material having cells independent of each other.A process for manufacturing such inner tubes with a mold for preforming and vulcanizing semi-toric elements, the mold includes fingers for molding recessed cavities and an incorporated heating network, the preformed semi-toric elements having undergone a first vulcanization are then joined together and subjected to a second vulcanization in an appropriate apparatus.
Abstract: The shock absorber comprises two stacks, of alternated metallic plates and elastic blocks mutually encircling one another. The blocks of each stack are borne by the plates of the other and are constituted of an elastomer different from that constituting the blocks of the other stack.
Abstract: The seal is designed to ensure fluid-tightness between the cone and the cup of a conical roller bearing. The seal includes an armature, having a frustoconic bearing surface, fastenable with the cone, a collar stop mounted slidably along the armature and fast to a second bearing surface, and an annular spring mounted in extension on the first bearing surface and supported against the second bearing surface so as to urge these two bearing surfaces constantly into relative axial separation and to be rollable or slidable on the first bearing surface when the collar stop is moved axially with respect to the armature.
Abstract: The invention concerns a resilient coupling to be placed between two shafts, of the kind comprising elastomer blocks placed between armatures disposed in a ring and belonging to two sets connected respectively to said shafts, in combination with a centering core separated from the base of the armatures by elastomer joints. It consists essentially in locking the core rigidly to one of the shafts considered, instead of its being floating. This core, in the embodiment shown, is also locked rigidly to a part of the armatures, thus forming a star. The joints are provided between the core and horns sufficiently extended to suitably increase the angle .alpha. concerned with each joint. Other embodiments are provided in the description.
Abstract: An apparatus for removing puncture-resistant tubes from tires includes two symmetrical squeezing plates, a jack located between these two plates, in a plane parallel to the lengthwise direction thereof and a base plate disposed transversely with respect to the squeezing plates, which base plate furnishes support for the squeezing plates and for a tire which is to have its associated puncture-resistant tube removed. An accommodation for the tire whose tube is to be removed, is delimited by the aforesaid squeezing plates, jack and base plate. A method of removing puncture-resistant tubes involves subjecting a tire containing a puncture-resistant tube simultaneously to a lateral squeezing action on two diametrically opposite zones thereof in a given plane, and to a first thrusting action on a zone thereof in a plane, perpendicular to the given plane, and then to a thrusting action on a zone opposite to the zone which was subjected to the first thrusting action.
