  • Patent number: 7520023
Abstract: A hinge for connecting a first folding element to a second folding element. The hinge includes a fixing element which comprises a first fixing face by means of which the fixing element is contactingly fixable to the second folding element; a first arm connected to the fixing element so as to be pivotable around a first pivot axis between a first position and a second position; a second arm having a fixing device by which the second arm can be fixed to the second folding element, and is connected to the first arm so as to be pivotable around a second pivot axis extending parallel to the first pivot axis between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the first arm encloses a smallest angle relative to the fixing face and, in the second position, encloses a greatest angle relative to the fixing face.

  • Publication number: 20090090145
Abstract: A container locking device has a rotating rod (16) that is rotatably attachable on a first container element between a releasing position and a locking position. At least one locking member (18) is mountable on a second container element. The locking member (18) is movable between an opened position and a closing position. In the open position, the rotating rod (16) is arranged within a locking recess (28) of the locking member (18). In the closing position, the locking member (18) is pivotable between a closed pivot position and an opened pivot position around the rotating rod (16). The rotating rod (16) has a contour. The contour is such, that with the rotating rod (16) in its locking position, the contour is supported on a support face (30) of the locking member (18) in its closed position. The support face (30) has an undercut (33). The undercut (33) enables pivoting of the locking member (18) from the closed pivot position into the opened pivot position.

  • Patent number: 4220022
Abstract: A plurality of push-button switches are located on a locking structure which also includes an encoding circuit having a specific code set therein requiring operation of the push-buttons in a predetermined sequence. Operation of the first coded button starts an energy timing circuit which provides electrical energy required to permit the lock to open, the energy timing circuit de-energizing the mechanism after a predetermined time so that the electronic decoding circuit automatically blocks the lock unless the proper code was entered within the predetermined time interval, and the appropriate first push-button, providing for energization of the entire system, was first operated. The timing circuit preferably is a capacitor which is charged upon operation of the first push-button, encoded to be first operated and which, if the proper code is punched, provides energy to a solenoid coil which releases a locking element if the proper code permits discharge of the capacitor through the solenoid.

  • Patent number: 4149212
Abstract: An encoding circuit is provided permitting energization of an electromagnetic unlocking solenoid if a series of push-button switches is operated in accordance with a predetermined code. The circuit includes a memory which stores the sequence of operation of the push-buttons in accordance with the code in form of a binary code word. A comparison or decision stage is connected to the memory, typically a shift register, and connected to the memory position of all the digits of the code associated with the specific lock of a binary 1 value, as well as all the digits of the code in a binary 0 value, the decision circuit controlling the unlocking solenoid only if both the binary 1 and binary 0 values stored in the memory upon sequential push-button operation conform to the code associated with the lock, and, simultaneously, a timing circuit energized upon initiation of the first properly coded push-button still provides a timing energization signal, or operating energy to the circuit.
