Abstract: The present invention provides an item of luggage (1) having a receptacle (2) to receive items to be transported, a support (14) for the receptacle, a pair of wheels (5, 6) connected to the support (9) and a handle (3) connected to the support (14), with the support (9), receptacle (2), wheels (5, 6) and handle (3) being arranged such that the handle (3) may be used to push or pull the receptacle (2) along on the pair of wheels (5, 6) in the manner of a conventional flight bag. The item further comprises a footplate (11) pivotally attached to the support at one end and with a wheel at the other end.
