Abstract: Safety apparatus is disclosed for use with a load circuit connectable to a power supply via an Active conductor and a Neutral return conductor and including an Earth return conductor. The apparatus comprises means for detecting a difference in load current flowing between an energized Active conductor and the Neutral return conductor; and means for disconnecting the load circuit from the power supply in response to the difference in load current, wherein the means for detecting includes means for sensing a leakage current flowing between the Earth return conductor and the Neutral return conductor. A method of operating a load circuit connectable to a power supply via an active conductor and a neutral return conductor is also disclosed.

Abstract: A transducer is disclosed for sensing flow of a fluid. The transducer includes means for applying a heat pulse to the fluid and at least one temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is adapted to detect a decaying response to the heat pulse to provide an indication of the flow. The decaying response may be detected by comparing measured voltages at a set moment in time or by comparing measured times at a set voltage threshold. A method for sensing flow of a fluid is also disclosed.

Abstract: Apparatus for color correcting a display module is disclosed. The display module includes a plurality of light emitting elements such as LEDs. The LEDs typically include sources of nominally red, green and blue colors. The apparatus includes a device for activating a light emitting element to emit an uncorrected first color and a device for activating at least one further light emitting element which emits a color other than the first color, to produce a corrected first color. An array of corrected display modules and a method of correcting a color in a display module are also disclosed.
