  • Patent number: 12312230
Abstract: A nozzle for beverage dispensing. The nozzle accepts both hot water lines and cold water lines at the nozzle, where the water may be carbonated or still. Cold carbonated water is received near the top of a double cone-shaped insert within the nozzle interior. The cold carbonated water is depressurized prior to being fully exposed to atmospheric pressure by passing the cold carbonated water down and around the double cone-shape of the insert. The depressurized cold carbonated water is collected via a funnel, and is dispensed from the nozzle after exiting the funnel bottom. Hot water is received in chamber within the nozzle separate from the passageway through which the cold carbonated water flows. Both hot and cold water streams are directed to flow in a tight and narrow downward direction via flow straighteners, and the streams are mixed with flavoring after dispensing from the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 11987487
Abstract: Systems and methods for beverage dispensing are disclosed herein. The beverage dispensing system can receive a connection request to pair a mobile computing device with a beverage dispensing device via a network. The connection request can include an identifier that can be verified to match a current identifier associated with the beverage dispersing device. The beverage dispensing system can generate a session between the mobile computing device and the beverage dispensing device that replicates a user interface of the beverage dispensing device on the mobile computing device. The beverage dispensing system can receive inputs from the mobile computing device during the session to obtain configuration parameters for a beverage and dispense the beverage from a nozzle based on the configuration parameters.

  • Patent number: 11845643
Abstract: Among other things, beverages are dispensed from one or more beverage dispensers based on selections made by users. Information about the dispensing of the beverages is sent to a central server where it is used to manage a variety of functions including replacement of depleted supplies of components. Various features of the beverage dispensers enable the beverages that are dispensed to be uniform and appealing to users.

  • Patent number: 11148927
Abstract: Among other things, a chiller for chilling water to be dispensed as part of beverages includes a tank configured to contain a cooling mass for chilling the water. A first tube in the tank is configured to be immersed in the cooling mass and to carry the water along a path from a source towards a location where the chilled water is to be dispensed as part of the beverages. A second tube is configured to be immersed in the cooling mass and to carry a coolant along a recirculation path from a coolant source and back to the coolant source. The coolant has a sufficiently low temperature to cause a frozen mass to be formed as part of the cooling mass within the tank and in the vicinity of the second tube. The first tube and the second tube are configured and positioned relative to one another within the tank so that the frozen mass occupies at least 30 percent of the volume of the cooling mass in the tank but does not touch the first tube.
