  • Patent number: 10183662
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle using an engine driving a generator to supply power to electric drive motors through a system power bus, and a method for controlling power regeneration in a hybrid vehicle are disclosed. Ground drive controllers associated with the drive motors are configured to determine a slope of a surface on which the vehicle is driving and set a maximum downhill speed of the vehicle based thereon. A generator controller, in response to the drive motors generating power through regenerative braking, regulates power on the bus by directing the generated power to recharge the battery when the battery has capacity, reducing an output of the generator to the bus when the battery is fully charged, and driving a driveshaft to drive the engine with the generator to consume excess power on the bus when the generator output is reduced to zero.

  • Patent number: 10174379
Abstract: A method for detecting genes sensitive to low-level ionizing radiation and genes detected by the method. More specifically, genes sensitive to low-level ionizing radiation and related to suppressing thymic cancer, discovered in a carcinogenic entity and verified in a normal entity are detected by subjecting a cancerous AKR/J mouse and a normal ICR mouse to low-level radiation. Thymus is collected therefrom, immunogenic and apoptotic genes are classified via microarray processing of the thymus. The genes are amplified and the levels of gene expression are measured. Thus, a gene having a specific reaction to radiation can be accurately detected by preventing the interference of confounding variables.

  • Publication number: 20180356449
Abstract: There is proposed a computer-implemented method for automatic correction of a topology of a smart network that uses the information contained in the voltage measurements provided by smart meters in order to determine which meter is connected to which transformer. The method starts from an initial topology and divides up the meters into first and second batches for each transformer. Successive reallocations of meters in the second batches are made according to similarities with average voltages calculated and corrected from the first batches of meters. The method proceeds by iterations until there remain no more meters attributable to other transformers and updates the topology so that its evolution at a given time be readable.
