    Abstract: A solenoid actuated mechanical relay is encapsulated in electrical insulating resin in a housing on a tubular column extending upward from a submerged pump unit in the bottom of a tank, to energize the pump motor. Float switches mounted on said housing are connected to the relay to control the pump in accordance with a liquid level in the tank.
