Patent number: 9275536Abstract: A pump monitoring device is configured to be connected to a case drain of a pump. The device includes a manifold having an inlet for connection to the case drain. A flow rate sensor generates a signal indicative of a flow rate of fluid in a fluid path. The flow rate sensor includes a temperature sensor, a heater, and a sensor barrel. The heater heats the sensor barrel while in fluid communication with the fluid. A pressure sensor generates a signal indicative of a pressure of the fluid. There is at least one fault indicator operatively coupled to at least one of the flow rate sensor, the temperature sensor, and the pressure sensor. The fault indicator provides a human perceptible indication that at least one of a sensed flow rate, a sensed temperature, or a sensed pressure of the fluid flowing in the fluid path exceeds a predetermined threshold value.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2015Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Assignee: Hydrotech, Inc.Inventors: Rex A. Wetherill, John Rasmussen, Peter R. Jones

Patent number: 8419836Abstract: An apparatus is provided for separating a liquid from a gas-liquid mixture. The apparatus has an enclosure having an inlet and an outlet defining a flow path for the gas-liquid mixture. The apparatus includes a plurality of plates in the enclosure that are arranged in the flow path between the inlet and outlet, with the plates being configured to coalesce liquid from the gas-liquid mixture contacting the plates. A reservoir may be in fluid communication with the plates and be positioned to receive fluid coalesced by the plates. The plates may be arranged so as to create a turbulent flow of the gas-liquid mixture flowing from the inlet toward the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2011Date of Patent: April 16, 2013Assignee: Hydrotech, Inc.Inventor: Leonard Ardizzone
