  • Patent number: 4964885
Abstract: The dew point of the exhaust gas is firstly reduced to a value in the range of 60.degree.-65.degree. C. Thereafter the exhaust gas flows through a washing and condensing apparatus. A part of the prepurified condensate is recirculated in a loop for carrying out the latter-mentioned washing. Thereafter the gas flows through a wet-deep bed filter apparatus. The sprinkler apparatus belonging thereto is fed again by a partly purified liquid. A drying chamber follows the wet-deep bed filter apparatus. The gas is then finally purified in an electro-filter plant. The condensate in the washing and condensing apparatus, to which also the washing liquid stemming from the sprinkler apparatus of the wet-deep-filter apparatus is added, is fed to a flotation plant. This condensate-liquid mixture has an increased temperature such that a better working in the flotation plant is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4794937
Abstract: A manually operating plug and socket joint for multiple hose connections, particularly measuring, control or regulating lines of fluid systems with very high (several hundred bar), reduced or alternating pressure. The plug and the socket have a housing with axially parallel bores receiving a joining bushing with a radial clearance. A spring loaded and mechanically actuable check valve with a cylindrical valve body is arranged in each joining bushing. The valve body outer edge or frontal face sealing shoulder presses against an elastomeric gasket. The joining bushing or a sealing bush located in the bushing and the gasket define a sealable flow channel. Each mechanically actuable plug piece check valve contains a shackled flying piston with a passage bore. The piston outlet nipple opens the cylindrical valve body of the associated socket piece mechanically actuable check valve. The piston inlet nipple opens the cylindrial valve body of the plug piece mechanically actuable check valve.

  • Patent number: 4772132
Abstract: A sensor for fluid systems for continuous detection of operating pressures and temperatures, with a sensor housing to receive a temperature probe and a pressure sensor. Simultaneous detection of pressures and temperatures is achieved by a sensor housing having a connecting nipple equipped with a bore. A temperature probe passes through the bore forming an annular flow channel which is fluidically connected to a pressure sensor chamber of a pressure sensor. The temperature probe is adjustable in an axial direction by an adjusting device.

  • Patent number: 4770207
Abstract: A high, reduced or alternating pressure fluid measuring system equipped with lines connected to measuring, control or regulating points combined in a collector. The collector is a rapid, multiple coupling and is actuable under operating pressures. The plug or socket is connected to a measuring device with sensors, control or regulating devices. The measuring device has a housing with plural bores, each to receive a pressure transducer and connected to a fluid and a vent channel. The fluid channel leads to a coupling bushing. The plug and socket housing have axially parallel bores to receive a coupling bushing, each with a radial clearance. A spring loaded mechanically actuated check valve and cylindrical valve body is located in each bushing. The outer edge or frontal surface of a bushing sealing shoulder presses against a gasket when closed. The coupling bushing or sealing bush located in the coupling bushing and the gasket form a sealable flow channel.

  • Patent number: 4703914
Abstract: A valve joint, in particular, a measuring valve joint for fluid systems with high working pressures, comprises a connector bushing under line pressure having a spring-loaded and mechanically operable check valve in a bore. A cylindrical valve body in the bore presses its packing shoulder against a sealing ring consisting of an elastomeric material in the closed state of the valve. A sealing liner and the valve body form a sealable flow channel arranged in the connector bushing. Further seals are arranged downstream and/or upstream from the sealing ring. Upon the opening of the valve body the further seals terminate their sealing function only after the lifting of the sealing ring from the packing shoulder and preferably in a delayed manner.

  • Patent number: 4694681
Abstract: A measuring turbine with a turbine rotor arranged in a flow channel of the measuring housing comprises a turbine rotor and an inductive pulse pickup, wherein between the wall of the housing of the flow channel and the circumference of the turbine rotor an annular gap with an irregular configuration is present. The housing wall opposite the turbine rotor of the flow channel has at least one bore hole with a variable effective depth. The inductive measuring sensor is arranged in the bore, whereby the depth of insertion may be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 4638668
Abstract: The invention relates to a measurement coupling for fluid systems, for taking working pressures or temperatures of the fluid media, consisting of a coupling bushing which is under duct pressure in the built-in state, and in the bore of which is arranged a spring-loaded and mechanically actuatable check valve, the check valve being constructed as a valve body provided with a cylindrical bore and a closed bottom face, the end of the coupling bushing facing the fluid system being prolonged beyond the valve body. A radial transverse bore or a radial slot is located in the wall of the valve body. In a further embodiment of the invention, the radial transverse bore or the transverse slot is formed in the wall of the guide part of the valve body and a flow slot channel is formed between the valve body and the coupling bushing as far as the radial transverse bore or transverse slot.

  • Patent number: 4253488
Abstract: A safety retainer for threaded coupling elements of a valved bush includes a deformable friction locking ring for a threaded safety cap or tube coupling nut adapted to be secured to the bush; a flexible retainer for the cap connected to the locking ring; a special cap nipple insertable into the bore of the bush; a sealing ring in the bore of the bush for engaging the cap nipple; and a tapered tube connector sealing nipple arrangement that engages the sealing ring in the bush in a special manner to preserve the life of the seal. The cap or coupling nut is threaded on the bush and is forced over the locking ring which elastically deforms to hold the cap or nut against unintentional loosening. The cap is held captive by the retainer when it is loosened and removed, and the tube coupling sealing nipple cooperates with the valve in the bush in a desired manner while it does not damage the seal ring in the tube connector side of the bore of the bush. Specific forms of locking rings are disclosed.
