Abstract: A light therapy system is made up of a pressure cuff system having a cuff that is positionable on or near a body part of a user and that can receive pressurized air to selectively pressurize and depressurize the cuff and a light emitting system having a supporting structure and a light emitter positioned on the supporting structure, the light emitter being controllably powerable. The supporting structure is positionable on an interior surface of the cuff so that the light emitter can direct light onto the body part. The light therapy system can further include a controller capable of controllably powering the light emitter, wherein controller can adjust the intensity or duration of the light directed onto the body part in response to an input or measurement related to a condition of the body part. A photometer can be provided separately or integrally to measure the condition of the body part. A method of providing light therapy is also provided.
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of massaging devices are disclosed herein. One exemplary embodiment includes a piston having a longitudinal axis, a massaging head connected to the piston, a motor located on a first side of the longitudinal axis and a handle located on a second side of the longitudinal axis. A drive mechanism for moving the piston and massage head is also included.

Abstract: Systems and processes for determining pressure settings for a percussive massage applicator are described. According to one embodiment, a method comprises obtaining an operational current measurement of the motor when the motor has a load. difference value is determined between the current measurement and the operational current measurement. The difference value is compared to two or more predetermined ranges of values that correspond to a pressure level of the percussive applicator. The pressure level may be provided as feedback to the user.

Abstract: An apparatus has a bottom sphere and a top sphere connected to the bottom sphere to define an interior volume with a central plane. The top sphere includes a concave surface at an angle to the central plane. A motor is positioned within the interior volume. A processor is positioned within the interior volume and is connected to the motor. A memory is positioned within the interior volume and is connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor. The instructions include hand stimulation sessions. Each hand stimulation session comprises a sequence of cycles, where each cycle is a sequence of vibration intensity values applied to the motor.
