Abstract: Connection device for electrical or electronic connections. A socket connector with a plurality of contact sockets and a pin connector with a plurality of pin contacts is connected to an electric cable following insertion of the pin connector inside this socket connector. The pin connector has an internally hollow main body which houses a bush inside which these contacts are inserted. The socket connector has an internally hollow main body which houses a second bush and inside which these contact sockets are inserted. The main body of the pin connector is provided with a free section able to engage sealingly inside an annular cavity of this socket connector. A toroidal spring engages grooves in both the socket connector and pin connector to form a snap-type connection therebetween.
Abstract: Contact for electrical or electronic connections, comprising a contact pin (1, 101) provided with resilient-tensioning means (4) which act in an axial direction on the said pin (1, 101), the said pin being provided with a coaxial stem (201) which extends at the end of said pin (1) opposite to that intended for connection, said stem (201) being inserted inside a contact means (3) in the form of a scored hyperboloid; said pin, being characterized in that said resilient-tensioning means (4) and said scored hyperboloid (3) are enclosed inside a substantially cylindrical and substantially single-piece container body (2; 5), locating means (202; 205) being envisaged for said resilient-tensioning means (4).
Abstract: A female electrical connector includes a socket (1) made of conducting material, defining an approximately cylindrical internal space (2) open at one of its ends, inside of which plural wire contacting components made of a conducting material are placed, these being intended to grip, flexibly, a male component to be inserted into the socket (1), the plural components each extending from one end of the cylindrical space (2) to the other. The wire contacting components are formed from a single wire (4).
