    Abstract: A metal tension resisting bracket for use with public telephone pay stations and the like which anchors the distal end of an armored connecting cable within the telephone cabinet. The bracket provides for rapid disconnection of both the distal end of the armored cable and the internally contained lanyard which resists tension applied to the cable.
