  • Patent number: 8763865
Abstract: A novel metering device (1) for dispensing a dose of a pressurized fluid is described. A dispensing valve body (3) is mounted in a fluid-tight manner to the lid (4) of a pressurized container (5), which circumvents a valve element (9). A valve delivery tube (10) is connected to the valve element (9). A chamber (13) surrounds the valve body (3), in which a piston (17) is reciprocable between an upper and a lower position, which define the dispensing dose. A clearance is provided between the piston (17) and the inner wall (23) of the chamber (13), such that pressurized fluid can flow into the chamber based on a pressure difference between the container (5) and the chamber (13), and the piston (17) is adapted to seal the valve body (3) when being in the upper position.

  • Patent number: 8359749
Abstract: A method for at least providing at least a first and a second assembly for manufacturing, respectively, a first reference pressure chamber (1A) which in use in a pressure control device encloses a gas such that the gas is held under a first reference pressure, and a second reference pressure chamber (1B) which in use in a pressure control device encloses a gas such that the gas is held under a second reference pressure, wherein the first reference pressure differs from the second reference pressure, and wherein the pressure control device is suitable for feeding through, on the basis of the reference pressure, a fluid from a first space (I) in which a relatively high pressure prevails to a second space (II) in which a relatively low pressure prevails, the method comprising providing the first and the second assembly such that each assembly for forming the respective reference pressure chamber comprises a casing (3A, 3B) and a plunger part (11A, 11B), while the casing is closed at a first end and the plunger p

  • Patent number: 8006873
Abstract: A pressure package system for providing a working pressure on a fluid included in a pressure package, the system being provided with a pressure package in which a product chamber is included for holding the fluid and in which a working pressure chamber is included for keeping a propellant at the working pressure, the system being further provided with a pressure controller and a high-pressure chamber connected with the pressure controller for keeping the propellant in supply at a relatively high pressure, the pressure package system being further provided with a wall which is of elastic and/or flexible design, a first side of the wall bounding the working pressure chamber at least partly and a second side of the wall, facing away from the working pressure chamber, bounding the product chamber at least partly.

  • Patent number: 7954678
Abstract: A novel pressure control device is provided comprising a first cylinder (3) at a predetermined excess pressure, a piston (4) with a sealing ring (5) being movable within said first cylinder, and a second cylinder (7). The first cylinder (3) is encompassed by the second cylinder (7) as to form a ring-shaped passage which is leading to the outside. A valve in said passageway is released and closed by a stem (14) of the piston (4). The open end of the first cylinder (3) is provided with at least one axially directed incision (37), such that the piston (4) with the sealing ring (5) introduced in the first cylinder (3) and covering the end of the incision (37) is in a non-pressurized position. The stem (14) has a stop element (15) which closes the valve in the upper position of the piston, wherein the piston stroke essentially defines the excess pressure.
