Abstract: A light string with a snap-fit enclosure includes a conductor, a light element mounted to the conductor, a shroud having a body having an open interior and a neck, the neck having an opening therein, open to the body interior and a cap configured to fit onto the neck. Cooperating locking elements are positioned in the cap and on the neck to lock the cap to the neck, such that the cap is secured to the neck and the light element secured within the shroud without the need for an external fastener. At least one of the cap and the neck have at least two cut-outs formed therein opposing one another and defining a channel. The channel is configured to receive the conductor with the cap secured to the neck.

Abstract: A system for creating a lighted apparel design includes a light element and a securing member for securing the light element to the apparel item. The securing member is an adhesive. The securing member secures the light element to an associated apparel item at a desired location on the apparel item to create a lighted design on the apparel item.

Abstract: A system for creating a lighted apparel design includes a light element and a securing member. The securing member has a base and a capture portion. The capture portion is located, at least in part, attached to the base and defines a capture region configured to releasably secure the light element therein. The securing member is secured to an associated apparel item and the light element secured in the capture region to create a lighted design on the apparel item. A lighted apparel item is also disclosed.

The device includes a body having an upper surface and a side adjacent to the upper surface. The body has a fixed mounting end and a coupling portion and is formed from a translucent material. An illuminating assembly includes an illuminating element such that light is visible through the body material. A band for encircling a portion of a wearer's body has an upper surface, a fixed mounting portion and a coupling portion. The coupling portion is inserted into the body such that the body and band upper surfaces are flush with one another. The band and body mate to secure the device around the wearer's body and prevent longitudinal separation of the coupling portions.

A glove includes a glove, light emitting elements disposed proximate finger tips of the glove, a controller coupled to the light emitting elements to control illumination thereof, a power supply coupled to the controller, and light reflecting elements disposed on a top surface of the glove. A headpiece includes a front panel on a top portion of the headpiece. The headpiece includes a top portion having a plurality of light emitting elements arranged thereon. A rim is connected to a bottom end of the top portion. A controller is coupled to the light emitting elements to control illumination thereof. A power supply is coupled to the controller and the plurality of light reflecting elements are disposed on the top portion and the rim of the headpiece.

The light source for the flashlight is switchable between a constant on and a constant off state and the light source illuminating the body is switchable among a constant on state, a constant off state and an intermittent state. The lighting device includes an energy source, at least one lighting element, and an electrical circuit including a wireless receiver. The receiver receives a signal from a transmitter and provides a signal to a control circuit to switch the at least one lighting element between a deenergized state and an energized state by providing electrical energy from the energy source to the at least one lighting element. A wireless remote transmitter provides the signal to the receiver.
