Abstract: The present invention relates to selected and stabilized cell line extracts from Ajuga reptans comprising phenylpropanoids having high antioxidating capacity with a teupolioside titer of between 20% and 90% and a chromophore-free fraction of between 80% and 10%. Said extracts are for use in human and veterinary therapy and for nutritional and cosmetic purposes. Furthermore, the invention relates to a novel phenylpropanoid molecule denominated isoteupolioside.
