Abstract: A cup for coffee, or similar drinks, formed of synthetic thermoplastics material comprises a portion (3, 3', 3") provided with a base (5, 5') and a shoulder (7) having a collar (8, 8') ending in a flare (14) at the top (9) of the cup, a portion (4, 4', 4") running from this top which is provided with a shoulder (11) which is, in turn, connected to a lower edge (13) by means of a section of wall (12, 12'), in which the shoulder (7) rests at least partly on the flare (14) in a plane other than that which includes the top (9) of an identical cup placed beneath it.
Abstract: A yogurt container and a cover therefor obtained from a sheet of thermo-plastics material, wherein said container comprises a hollow frusto-conical body, radiused to a flat edge by means of at least an annular step-like-projection and by means of a side wall portion, and wherein said cover being nestable in the container above said body comprises a peripheral wall and a central handgrip. The side wall portion is formed of an upper part downwardly frusto-conical and of a lower cylindrical part. A plurality of recesses are provided inside the container in the region where said cylindrtical part and said frusto-conical part join together, each recess being formed of a base and of an upwardly tapered wall and being a spacer between stacked empty containers.
Abstract: The improved container, obtained from a sheet of synthetic thermoplastic material, which is particularly suitable for eggs, is made in two portions (10,12) which are held together by rib (13) and can be folded down so that one closes on the other by means of pressure fastenings (14,22). It is provided with damper-ribs (25) which protect the eggs from breakage due to accidental impacts against the sides of the walls of the recesses (11) in which the eggs are placed and when portion (12) thereof is constructed as a lid without recesses it has ribs (34,35,36) in a particular location on the lid which confer satisfactory rigidity which is perceptible when the container is being closed or when it lies at the base of a stack of containers, for example on a display shelf.
Abstract: A label for trays or containers for eggs or the like made of cardboard or similar material which has a substantially rectangular central body (23) with rounded corners is provided with at least one extension (27) which can be folded along at least one of the sides of its central body, is provided with radially intersecting cuts (25) forming tabs (24, 24') and/or holes (24"), which may also only be premarked, and can be glued to the lid of a container to form air cushions (37, 37') which protect the products which are subsequently held in the container and permit empty and open containers to be stacked.
