A plurality of alternate component versions for a second software component of the software application are stored. One of the plurality of alternate component versions for the first software component is selected. One of the plurality of alternate component versions for the second software component is selected. The selected alternate component version for the first software component is delivered to a client device. The selected alternate component version for the first software component is executed by the client device and the selected alternate component version for the second software component is executed by an application server.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods of making a semiconductor package comprising at least one thin-film capacitor embedded into at least one build-up layer of said semiconductor package. A thin-film capacitor is provided wherein the thin-film capacitor has a first electrode and a second electrode separated by a dielectric. A temporary carrier layer is applied to the first electrode and the second electrode is patterned. A PWB core and a build-up material are provided, and the build-up material is placed between the PWB core and the patterned second electrode of said thin-film capacitor. The patterned electrode side of the thin-film capacitor is laminated to the PWB core by way of the build-up material, the temporary carrier layer is removed, and the first electrode is patterned.

Abstract: A media processor having a controller operable to recognize a portion of a video stream in an Interactive TV (iTV) network having video compression artifacts corresponding to a stored model and perform model-based video correction of the portion recognized using synthetically generated images of objects in a captured video scene. Abstract: A method for mapping relationships in a database results in a cluster graph. A representative sample of records in each of a plurality of tables in the database is analyzed for nearest neighbor join edges instantiated by the record. Records with corresponding nearest neighbor join edges are grouped into clusters. Cluster pairs which share a join relationship between two tables are identified. A weighting may be applied to cluster pairs based on the number of records for the cluster pair. Meaningful cluster pairs above a weighted threshold may be ordered according to table and displayed as a cluster graph. Analyses of the cluster graph may reveal important characteristics of the database.

In the methods, a dielectric may be formed on a metal (e.g. nickel) substrate, and a copper electrode is formed thereon, followed by the thinning of the metal substrate from its non-coated face, and subsequently forming a copper electrode on the thinned, non-coated face of the substrate.

Abstract: A method for preparing a multilayer package comprising a substrate and a composition having a moisture vapor permeation value of at least 200 g-mil/m2/24 h and barrier to liquid water. The method comprises melt blending an organic acid-modified ionomer with an ethylene-containing copolymer and a copolymer comprising a dicarboxylic acid derivative as a comonomer to provide a composition and applying the composition to the substrate in a molten condition and allowing the composition to cool and solidify.

Additionally, a method of securing adjacent screens including inserting a vertically disposed latch of a first screen into a catch of a second screen, wherein the inserting includes contacting the latch of the first screen with a bearing surface of the second screen adjacent the catch of the second screen. The method further includes forming a planar alignment of the first screen to the second screen.

Abstract: Inclusion of a needle structured clay or the plate structured clay sodium montmorillonite in a chitosan film was found to reduce shrinkage of the film. The clay is processed into a substantially dispersed form. Laminates fabricated from this chitosan film including dispersed clay can be used in make a variety of finished articles that can be used to provide protection from hazardous chemical and biological agents.

Abstract: A tissue adhesive formed by reacting an oxidized cationic polysaccharide containing aldehyde groups and amine groups with a multi-arm amine is described. The oxidized cationic polysaccharide-based polymer tissue adhesive may be useful for medical applications including wound closure, supplementing or replacing sutures or staples in internal surgical procedures such as intestinal anastomosis and vascular anastomosis, ophthalmic procedures, drug delivery, anti-adhesive applications and as a bulking agent to treat urinary incontinence. Additionally, due to the presence of the positively charged amine groups on the oxidized polysaccharide, the polymer tissue adhesive disclosed herein may promote wound healing and blood coagulation, and may possess antimicrobial properties.

Abstract: There is provided a transparent conductor including conductive nanoparticles and at least one of (a) a fluorinated acid polymer and (b) a semiconductive polymer doped with a fluorinated acid polymer. The nanoparticles are carbon nanoparticles, metal nanoparticles, or combinations thereof. The carbon and metal nanoparticles are selected from nanotubes, fullerenes, and nanofibers. The acid polymers are fluorinated or highly fluorinated and have acidic groups including carboxylic acid groups, sulfonic acid groups, sulfonimide groups, phosphoric acid groups, phosphonic acid groups, and combinations thereof. The semiconductive polymers comprise homopolymers and copolymers derived from monomers selected from substituted and unsubstituted thiophenes, pyrroles, anilines, and cyclic heteroaromatics, and combinations of those. The compositions may be used in organic electronic devices (OLEDs).
