Abstract: A process for forming an electronic device includes forming a first layer over a substrate, wherein the first layer includes an organic layer, and depositing a second layer over the substrate after forming the first layer, wherein depositing the second layer is performed using ion beam sputtering. In another embodiment, a process for forming an electronic device includes placing a workpiece within a depositing chamber of a depositing apparatus, wherein the workpiece includes a substrate and an organic layer overlying the workpiece. The process includes generating a plasma within a plasma-generating chamber of the depositing apparatus, wherein the plasma is not in direct contact with the workpiece. The process also includes sending an ion beam from the plasma-generating chamber towards a target within the depositing chamber, wherein the target includes a material, and depositing a layer of the material over the organic layer.
Abstract: The contemplated invention relates to the field of synthesis of biologically active substances, namely to the synthesis of an acetate derivative of the main water-soluble ?-tocopherol metabolite known under the name of ?-CEHC, which is prepared by the acid-catalyzed reaction of condensation of trimethyl hydroquinone with linalool in boiling octane, using n-toluenesulfonic acid or (+)-camphor-10-sulfonic acid as the catalyst. The reaction is carried out for 3 hours at the trimethyl hydroquinone:linalool:catalyst mole ratio of 1:1:0.1. The forming product is acetylated with acetic anhydride in pyridine at room temperature for 0.5 hour, and then ozonized in acetone in the presence of Ba(OH)2, oxidized with Jones' reagent in acetone, and isolated on silica gel column chromatography. Said compound is an acetate derivative of the main ?-tocopherol metabolite—?-CEHC, for which high efficiency has been noted in treating disorders of the central nervous system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for determining routings of communications. Methods include receiving a communication for a receiving party and determining one or more potential locations of the receiving party. A probability that the receiving party is at each of the potential locations is calculated based on a statistical model. It is determined which of the potential locations has the highest probability. Routing of the communication to the potential location with the highest probability is initiated.
Abstract: A process for reducing the fluorosurfactant content of an aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion by filling a container with fluoropolymer dispersion, inserting into the container a fabric pouch containing a fluorosurfactant sorbent so that the sorbent contacts the fluorosurfactant-containing aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion in the container and retains the fluorosurfactant to reduce fluorosurfactant content of said fluorosurfactant-containing aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion, and removing the fabric pouch from the container.

Abstract: A system (100) and method deliver audible caller identification information when standard Caller ID information can not be provided, even when a subscriber to the service has per line blocking. A service control point (106) detects the directory number to which a terminating attempt trigger is assigned and places this directory number in a parameter for transmission to a service switching point (102) using a forward_call message (206). The per line blocking function does not interfere with transmission of this parameter so that the called party's directory number can be passed for processing and call completion by the system.

The grafted polymers provide improved adhesion properties, particularly to metal and polyester substrates.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and key fob apparatuses for facilitating hands free mobile communications from within an automotive vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a key fob with a housing and a SIM associated with the housing. The SIM is operative to identify a subscriber to a mobile telephone network when interfaced with the mobile telephone network. The apparatus may further include a key integrated with the key fob and operatively associated with the SIM. The key is operative to initiate the start of an engine of the automotive vehicle and interface the SIM with a mobile telephone, such as a GSM phone, integrated with the automotive vehicle. Thus, when the key is inserted into an ignition switch operatively associated with a SIM reader, the SIM identifies a subscriber to the mobile telephone network.
