Patent number: 11620842Abstract: A computer-implemented method of generating electronic documents is described. The method comprises receiving a plurality of scanned documents for a plurality of vehicles; providing the plurality of scanned documents to a neural network model that outputs respective class identifiers of the plurality of scanned documents; for each scanned document of the plurality of scanned documents, extracting data from the scanned document according to a corresponding class identifier, and associating the scanned document and the extracted data with an identified vehicle of the plurality of vehicles, wherein the identified vehicle is identified by the extracted data; and generating an electronic document for the identified vehicle using the extracted data.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2022Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Assignee: IAA, Inc.Inventors: Maju Abraham, Subbu Viswanathan, Ryan Fagan, Ashish Kashyap, Anurag Sharma, Mark Oost, Michael T. Publication number: 20230071474Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to automated vehicle condition grading. In examples, a set of images for a vehicle are processed using a machine learning engine to generate an optical vehicle condition grade for each image of the set. The resulting set of optical vehicle condition grades may be aggregated to generate an aggregate optical vehicle condition grade for the vehicle. In some examples, additional information associated with the vehicle is processed, which may be used to generate an adjustment grade. Accordingly, the adjustment grade and the aggregate optical vehicle condition grade are used to generate a final vehicle condition grade for the vehicle. The final vehicle condition grade is associated with the vehicle in a vehicle condition grade data store for subsequent use by the vehicle grading service and/or by an associated client device, among other examples.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2022Publication date: March 9, 2023Applicant: IAA, Inc.Inventors: Shawn Caswell, Meggan O'Malley, Stephen Muscarello, Michael Cornelison

Patent number: 11132904Abstract: A work assignment request message, generated by a user device based on input provided by a tow service provider via the user device, is received at an enterprise server device. An initial pool of tow request stocks for potential fulfillment by the tow service provider is selected from a set of pending tow request stocks. A refined pool of tow request stocks is generated to exclude, from the initial pool, tow request stocks for which the tow service provider does not meet at least one fulfillment requirement. An optimized pool of tow request stocks is generated to include one or more tow request stocks selected, according to one or more optimization criteria, from the refined pool of tow request stocks. Information assigning the tow request stocks in the optimized pool of tow request stocks is transmitted from the enterprise server device to the user device.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2020Date of Patent: September 28, 2021Assignee: IAA, Inc.Inventors: Brett Wallin, Anthony Roth, Christopher Poulos, Mradul Modi
