Abstract: There is provided a human body information extraction device for extracting human body information including position information from a reference position, from 3D information on the human body elements obtained from a CT information or the like in which the position information from the reference position with respect to a human body element is unknown. In the human body information extraction device, a reference plane for positioning is detected by detecting information on a common positioning member contained in both of the 3D human body information from the CT information and a 3D model information from a human body model. The both reference planes are matched on the display so that the 3D human body information is positioned on the reference plane. Furthermore, only human information corresponding to the 3D model information is extracted from the CT information. By using this device, it is possible to obtain 3D human body information positioned on the reference plane from which a noise is excluded.

  • Publication number: 20130316297
Abstract: Dentition three-dimensional data and jaw-bone three-dimensional data are collected from a patient and they are combined. According to the combined data, dental crown data for making up for data on a lost tooth and occlusion data on a dental crown represented by the dental crown data are created. When an occlusion force according to the occlusion data is exerted on the occlusion face of a dental crown, a mechanical evaluation factor is produced in a jaw bone. The mechanical evaluation factor produced near the place where an artificial tooth root supporting a dental crown is to be implanted is calculated. The implantation place is determined so that the mechanical evaluation factor may be smaller and the mechanical load on the jaw bone from the opposed tooth during mastication may be lighter.

  • Publication number: 20120313928
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a two-dimensional image display device that generates and displays a tomographic image on a panorama-orthogonal cross-sectional plane, which extends in superior-inferior direction and is orthogonal to a panoramic cross-sectional plane, from three-dimensional image information generated from X-ray CT photographic data of a head and neck region. The panorama-orthogonal cross-sectional plane is shiftable in a mesial-distal direction along the panoramic cross-sectional plane. Furthermore, the panorama-orthogonal cross-sectional plane is tiltable around the line of intersection formed by the panorama-orthogonal cross-sectional plane and a horizontal cross-sectional plane. The image display device displays a tomographic image of the head and neck region that is on the shifted and tilted panorama-orthogonal cross-sectional plane.
